We went in after making an appointment online for notary services. When we got there, we were told that they didn't get notified about any appointment and the person who worked there as a notary didn't work there anymore. We were of course upset since we drove from across town to this location specifically because we made an appointment. We asked them to call a manager, as they made no effort to remedy the issue. The manager told them to tell us to go to the East side location as they had a notary there. As we left, we said that they should take the sign off their window if they couldn't provide notary services and they told us that WE should tell the manager to do that! Ridiculous! What ever happened to customer service? read more

This place is a rip off. They packaged 2 pictures for me. That part was good. The cost was outrageous. Over $300 to send to Oregon, ground. I WILL NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN! AND I WILL SPREAD THE WORD. read more

Their website & door says they are open until 2pm on Saturday. They were closed when I arrived at 1pm. Major inconvience... They need to update their hours or get better quality workers. read more

I normally ship with usps but decided to give UPS a try thinking that my items would be even safer being shipped through them. The item I was shipping was a handmade and painted 2D wire sculpture. When I arrived at the store I found two high school kids working so I consulted them about my shipping options, asking directly if I needed to worry about my item being bent in the bubble wrap envelope. They told me it would not be bent, it would be fine. I was perfectly willing to opt for a more expensive package if it would ensure the item's safety as this was a meaningful and personal item that can not be easily reproduced and took several hours to make. The item was completely destroyed in shipping, the person received a completely mangled mess of wire which was both heartbreaking and embarrassing for me. When I came back to consult with the manager (I'm assuming this is also the person who elected to schedule two high school kids to run the store without a more knowledgeable adult present) she said I needed official documents to prove the items worth otherwise she could not help me. She offered no apology nor did she seem interested in consulting me further on how I could be compensated as a poor working artist who was laid off in the pandemic who just had their original artwork destroyed. The alternative to this situation would have been a knowledgeable UPS staff member easily upselling me on better packaging that would have resulted in UPS making more money and me being pleased with the service I received. This store seems to be poorly managed. read more

The Indiana Street store in Evansville, Indiana is the best operated business in town. Staff is always professional, very knowledgeable, and helpful. I use this store a handful a times every year and it's always a great experience. read more

I visited this location again today (6-19-15) at 11:00 am. I was disappointed by the two ladies who were working because of their poor attitudes and customer service or I should say lack of customer service. Unfortunately this is not the first time I or my husband has received poor service from these two. To be fair to the store there have been other employees who have been pleasant and helpful on other visits. read more

About 1 minute later she said it seemed like it was going to take awhile so she wanted to help me. I needed a box to ship my stuff and instead of just pointing me to the boxes she went over and helped me select the box that made sense. She also helped me tape everything up and even put something in there to insure it stayed secure. When it came time to pay she explained my options and let me know she would pick the less expensive option based on my needs which I really appreciate. Very good service and good value.

Also this place always seems substantially more expensive than the post office. What an unorganized mess of a business. Cost me in so many ways, would rather hire the pony express than to send mail from here ever again.

The young man at the counter appeared sluggish as I handed him the lap top and not really interested and stated that it was an older machine and asked if I had tried a different charger. To which I answered that it had taken the charge as the orange light had turned to white. (in the past that had signified that it was charged.) He looked at his computer and informed me that they were backed up and that it would be next week before they could take a look at it, then appeared to have second thoughts and said it might be at the end of the week.
