UPS has always been a great place to go to mail packages and I think they still are So I ent there when I needed a notary public to sign my will. I made an appointment on line. When I got there I waited a little while. (Unusual). Then an employee asked if I had a will that needed to be notarized, I said ye and he said we don't do wills. I suggested that they let customers know when they make an appointment that they don't do wills. I will still go there to mail packages, but I was disappointed Ted this time. read more

The ups store in Englewood Florida has excellent service. The employees can't do enough for you. I am very confident that anything I bring to store 0123 will be shipped with a smile. The big reason is the manager Beth. I've been told no that they could not ship something and after talking to Beth it was on its way. Never had a problem and always greeted with a smile. I've been coming to the store for 5 plus years as it business grows so does their staff I've never had to wait even in season very incredible service, always a smile on their faces... I'm really surprised they can keep up with all the business they have sometimes there's no one in the store and sometimes there's 10 people in the store but they always have enough employees to cover it I can't say enough about how happy I am to use them. read more

Wow, I was a hot mess coming into the store. I had just packed 3 boxes full of fragile items, family photos and albums, and many sentimental items. I did a horrible job of packing and needed to leave quickly to catch a flight. Beth overheard me chatting with the sales associate and quickly swooped in to save the day. She got me out the door in 5 minutes, repacked my items properly and got them shipped the next day. I made my flight thanks to her help. I will be back! read more

Favorite UPS and mailbox center-- staff is always helpful and polite. We don't have issues with our mailbox or mailing needs and I'm in multiple times a week for drop offs. Conveniently located and ample parking space. Store is always clean and even when busy, the line is zipped through fairly quick. read more

They are willing to help pack not only conventional packages but I've seen them "McGyver " some unusual items. They have someone sorting mail that constantly puts the wrong mail in the boxes. I usually have one or two pieces of mail that belong to another customer in my box and can only wonder if someone else is getting my mail. The new ownership has been rocky with very poor customer service. I've had my business mail returned to sender (containing checks) even though it was correctly addressed along with numerous other hassles that stem from these frequent employee mistakes. Customer service doesn't seem to be a priority and some of the staff has been quite rude. It's unfortunate I have to change my 5 star review to a 1 star, but the level of service is unreliable which is unacceptable. If someone is looking to establish a new mailbox I would recommend looking elsewhere as the service is getting worse and not better. read more

We shipped 17 boxes from New York to Englewood, Fl. One was delivered UPS in 3 days to our address. The others did not arrive. When I checked tracking it said they were delivered 4 days atter sending them in the P.M. to the side entrance of our home. They were not there. After much panic my husband found them under a side cubby hole of our Neighbor's home. He was out of town for about a month. Three of the boxes were insured for $1,000 and were supposed to get the recipient's signature before delivering them. They were just sitting there with the rest of the boxes. This was an extremely careless and incompetent delivery by UPS. Our name and address is clearly written on the mailbox. There is no excuse for such negligence. We were lucky to find the packages due to my husband's perseverence. Then he had to carry all 16 boxes to our home with severe arthritis in his back. I could have lost all my good jewelry that was just left at the neighbor's home instead of waiting for the recipient's signature. People should be able to trust that their packages will arrive safely to the correct address. That was not the case with UPS in Englewood, Fl. Anne S. read more

This (way) OUT of the way (for me living in North Port) UPS store, with a touch of character, has made it possible for me (a veteran) to make deposits into my USAA bank account. UPS DECIDED that this (Englewood) location, one in Punta Gorda & one in SRQ would be sufficient for their USAA customers - (shaking my head & rolling my eyes) "no, not really- but thanks August for being so gracious". The owner/operator, August does a good job of handling the customers needs. Though he isn't monetarily compensated for offering this USAA service, he still carries out the necessary function to make this possible (for his customers- a-ahem). So unless you have packages to send or outgoing mail to attend to while there as well - it's of no benefit to HIM (how about that!) He gives the attention needed to the customer in front of him while also acknowledging those who will be waited on - get this- in turn (novel idea huh?). This little store can get real busy & people (especially snowbirds with no clock to punch) get impatient, (you know because you mustn't be late for brunch, hair appointments & Tee time) yet he remains calm (a lot more than I would), tactful & friendly in the face of demanding (& sometimes stinky, P - U) customers.
