Not sure if David is the owner but he should be . For the first time since we moved to Riverside 3yrs ago my 5 year old grandson got a true high fade hard part haircut. As soon as I walk-in the barber in station one greeted me promptly and assuredly. He let the rest of the barbers know I'm a walk In if anyone was available. I appreciate the thumbs up in response from 4 of them. A comfortable feeling to sit and wait. Haircuts are ok. But not into paying over 35 dollars for a haircut and yet this time they charged 40. Maybe next month they'll charge 50.

I've been coming here for the past 5-6 years. I have three boys and I'm always well taken care of. I usually make appointments as I am very particular with my boys haircuts. Leo always recommends the best of the best to me. This last week, I did come in as a walk in because I forgot to make an appointment beforehand. I had a "not so great" experience with the barber who cut my son's hair. I have never met her prior to cutting his hair. The way she cut his hair, we didn't like as it was not blended correctly and when we asked her to fix it she said she would need to charge additional. Which we have never been told before. All of the guys there cut my son's hair know what to do especially if it needs to be fixed. When she fixed it however, it came out way better. but I was still charged the fee. I brought this up with the owner and he assured me that I will be taken care of because he felt like this encounter should have been handled differently. And as promised, I was taken care of. Leo always takes care of my boys when I ask for appointments or when i ask who can cut their hair. He always directs me to the best of the best. 10/10 always recommend Underground. read more

First time there today. My husband asked for a fohawk fade and the guy who didn't speak a word of English, gave him a fade. Way too high on the sides to be a fade. If we had known he didn't understand us, or if he would have said something, we could have shown a photo or had the woman there translate. I didn't realize he didn't speak english, because he didn't speak at all. Then, I heard him on the phone, speaking Spanish. But I thought he was bilingual. It wasn't until I made the complaint that I realized he didn't understand me. So he didn't understand my husband. He heard the word "fade" and did what they always do there. Fades. Now, if the man would have stood off his phone, and stopped chatting, he would have understood better. He didn't even ask for a photo. He could have asked if he didn't understand. We assumed he knew what it was because he's a barber. Not worth the $25. My husband is more than angry. He should know what a fohawk fade is. First and last time. read more

BEYOND unprofessional! Walked in and wasn't greeted, said hello and no one responded-7 barbers "working" Language and topics of discussion were not appropriate considering there were many minors getting haircuts. One barber dropped a clipper attachment, picked it up, snapped it on the clippers, and continued with the haircut. Several of the barbers would stop cutting hair to use their phones, so it takes a loooong time to get an actual haircut. Most of the barbers need to learn basic manners and seriously step it up when in comes to their work ethic. They are young and immature and seem to forget that they are at WORK!!! read more

These are a bunch of young guys who cut hair. The quality of the hair cut is great but the over all experience is the worst in customer experience I had. I took my son there and waited about 30 min to be seen. While we were waiting, I had the pleasure of hearing a loud mouth barbers conversation on the phone and texts about his plans for the night all while cutting a customers hair. Besides hearing ALL the barbers foul mouths, I decided to give them another try. Took my nephew and father in there yesterday, there were 4 barbers, 3 talking amongst each other and 1 cutting a fellow barbers hair. After they barely acknowledge our presence, we waited 10min to watch the 3 barbers leave. We were told it was their lunch. Then the barber who was getting a hair cut was left in the chair for 10min waiting to finish his hair cut. So we left. I wouldn't recommend this place unless your willing to be treated with rudeness and disrespect. There is never 3 of us taking a lunch together at the same time at my work and I am a nurse. As for the quality of the cut it's one of the best in the city of Perris. I've found the barber I prefer & it's Donnie. Good guy who takes his time, doesn't waste your time by over talking to the entire shop & it meticulous with his cuts. Unfortunately prices have gone up & a simple beard lineup has gone from $8 to $10. Now to the customer service part of the shop, it's crap. Now one has to remember this is a men's barbershop which means some conversations may be either offensive, vulgar or just plain stupid. This though still gives a bad rap for this shop because the barber take extra time not on your hair but on their conversations some may even answer a phone call or text in the middle of your cut. So my review is mixed, but I'm basing my stars on the work done. We took my 4 year old nephew for a hair cut and the guy did and awesome job! Now, the wait was over 45 minutes for us, which is ehhhhhhh, they were really busy. But what made us mad is that one of the employees was talking the whole time and taking his sweet time! He would pause and chat, pause and chat! It took him over an hour to do 1 hair cut!
