Our one complaint is the wait for driving hours. With the cost of the course, we wanted our children's first experience behind the wheel to be with the driving instructor (less pressure/nerves for them not having dad next to them the first time, our cars a little bit safer while they get used to controlling a few tons of power, etc), each time the minimum wait for available *required* driving hours with the instructor was about 4-6 weeks AFTER they finished their classroom hours. By that time, the 6 hours of driver's ed road time was pretty pointless, as they had already had 20+ hours behind the wheel with us!

She personally taught me in her own car how to drive It took about a month and she took me for my drivers license. I then joined the class the offered. The time they put into all of us just felt like family. Jaden even took her own time and extra hours teaching me how to backup I just cant thank her and the family at American Truck Drivers enough. Its been 5 years and I now have 14 trucks in my company and growing Is just so hard to believe. I still talk with Jaden and hire drivers from her when I can. I highly recommend them. My husband attended the American Driver Training Academy Feb 3-28. He appreciated that he was able…read moreto earn his Class A CDL in 1 month and that this school accepted the GI Bill. We did have a hiccup with VA but we would like to thank Jaden, the VA certify official for correcting it. This school is very structured with reading, course work and LOTS of hands on experience. He REALLY liked ALL of the instructors. He learned different things from each one of them and they really make you feel valued and want you to be successful. At this school you cannot slack off. You have to be completely committed especially in the 1 month course because it moves very quickly. My husband cant say enough about the hands on experience. The team really prepares you for your CDL and gets you excited about your new career. My husband recently retired from the military after 21 years of service. Its unnerving leaving something that you have known for so long but he is excited about this new adventure because he now has the skills to be successful because of the instructors. After the completion of this course he was able to secure a Full-Time Mon.-Fri. position driving with a National company. I had lessons with another driving school that just made my anxiety worse. I decided to try Safeway driving school and see if that went any better. Even on the phone prior to my lessons Dale made me feel more at ease. After my first lesson I already felt like I could master highway driving. He took his time with me and gradually increased the difficulty until I felt more confident. I now can drive places that I couldn't drive before and my anxiety is almost non existent.
