Our tour guide introduced us to the Purdy family and their history with this property. Our tour guides were absolutely incredible. They are a wonderful, married couple and they made us feel at home following a beautiful tour throughout the barn which you can go on multiple levels which they have different farming tools. Historically, they have a simulated kitchen and what it look like during the time they have different vehicles that were used at the time and they have a schematic of the barn in wooden form. To stand in the barn is a breathtaking experience. You also have the opportunity to walk into the families home and see how they lived during that time. This property is perfect for a field trip if you're looking to teach kids about that time as well as what it took to sustain that type of property this is a great place to check out after you have viewed the petroglyphs in the area. I highly suggest you drive down the road and check out the octagon bar.

My kids were on the bumper boats for 3 minutes before it started pouring, and we were unfortunately on the way out of town. I spoke to the lady at the counter who called the manager, who had to call the owner. She took down my information and I haven't heard from anyone. I told them that I would like the refund given the circumstances but understand if they couldn't do that but to let me know as the had offered to validate the tickets for the following year. I followed up with an email to the place on 8/15 because the owner did not follow up and I still have yet to hear from them. Very disappointing, you can also tell the girl who had to run the bumper boats was less than thrilled to be there.
