In fact, I was incredulous that it wasn't a required part of the closing as it has been in every other state in which I've bought property. I got a list of surveyors from my real estate agent, and every one I contacted either didn't return emails or phone messages or flaked out after I contacted them and didn't follow through with the appointment. Finally, I got a referral for Brewer Survey from my deck contractor, and it went great. They were very responsive (both by phone & email) and their prices were reasonable. I was given two options: 1) if I only wanted the corners marked; or 2) if I also wanted a certified drawing with all structures marked as well. I chose the latter and was very satisfied with both the product and the service. Highly recommend.

I found a guy in my backyard, asked him was doing and he got aggressive and wouldn't leave after asking him to leave. I had to verbally remove him. The surveyor walked passed several "NO TRESPASSING" signs to get where I found him. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
