I had seen signs for The Tree Guys and they came recommended by a friend as well. It took one email and two phone calls before I could reach anyone to make a consultation. Once I got ahold of someone, they were able to come out right away. Pricing was fair so we went ahead with the job. They were able to get us on the schedule within two weeks. The workers arrived on time and were happy and willing to answer all of my questions. They did a great job the first day. They had to come back the next day to finish up because we added two more trees to the job. The workers did a good job, the area looks great. The office staff was nice and friendly although not very good at following up on emails or voicemails. I would use them again. read more

They trimmed my trees. At first it seemed solid. They did a price quote that was satisfactory, set up a date, showed up on time. But they didn't finish the job! I specifically pointed out which branches I wanted cut off and why. I had explained to Mitch that I wanted a Sunny patch for my garden and showed him where that garden was going to go. I went to work. My partner was home. They didn't notify him when they left. They didn't call me. They just left. And they didn't finish the job. There was for sure one huge branch that I wanted gone that was there. My Sunny patch was maybe half the size that I wanted. If they had told us they were leaving we could have said "hold up, where is my sunny patch?" And they could have finished the job. Ghosting us was rude and unprofessional. read more

Third time I used a tree removal company in the last 2 years. I called the Tree Guys by accident meaning to call the last company I used. WOW I am so glad to have made that mistake. It was a large job, including a huge dying tree between my shed and a high voltage line. I was terrified that someone would be hurt. Travis the job leader assured me that it would be fine and it was. I've used the Tree Guys twice now and have never had any problems. A couple of trees were difficult to get to. They had to use a lift and go over the house, since I live on a lake, but they had the equipment to handle it and did a nice clean-up too. I'm getting ready to have them take out a couple more trees. read more

I got a quote and hired The Lincoln Tree Guys to trim my large trees on my property. I had some huge branches in tricky spots over roofline and such. They did a great job trimming my trees. First time I have used them and I am very satisfied with their service. They gave me a reasonable estimate and the job was completed in a timely manner. Would definitely use again. Would have given them a 5-star but one of their chain saws leaked oil when they set it down and killed a 10"x10" patch of my lawn. read more

These guys are not trustworthy. I'm a beekeeper who helped them with a colony in a tree and lent them protective gear which they assured me they would drop off at my house when they were done. They not only didn't return my equipment but when I went to their shop to retrieve it, it was filthy and damaged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

I have used The Tree Guys for more than 10 years but no more. The front desk person has changed and is not good at taking notes or remembering what needs to be done. I called to have a tree removed and the stump taken out. The stump guy arrived to take out the stump but had no notes on taking out a tree. I called back, Heather had no recollection of me asking to have the tree removed and nothing in her notes. I told Heather not to mail the invoice to the address of the tree removal. She said she would call me the day before the tree was to be removed and I could give her my credit card info. I said that would be great. Two weeks go by, no phone call. I call and Heather again has no recollection of our previous conversations. The tree has already been removed and she has mailed the invoice. I told her there was confusion before about the tree removal and stump removal. She said "well that wouldn't have been my fault, that would have been Mitch's fault". Very unprofessional in my opinion to blame a co-worker to a customer. We will not be using The Tree Guys again. Very sad that the customer service has changed. read more
