They still offer 50% discounts depending on tag color. Their carts are the one's with poles to prevent them from being removed from the premises. This is how it is done in my home town. If you need to use the restroom, you willl need to ask a cashier to get the code. I will definitely make this store a regular stop.

City Thrift is a decent sized store with a pretty large selection, but it didn't take long to…read morerealize they seem to be following the same trend as a lot of the bigger thrift chains. Anything decent, name brand, or in particularly good condition appears to get picked out and priced closer to retail than thrift-store prices. Some of the prices were honestly surprising; I saw items priced at or above what you could buy them for brand new. For a store selling donated, secondhand merchandise, I expected there to be more opportunity to actually find a deal. There's plenty to look through, but the pricing really takes away from the whole point of thrifting. The staff were pleasant to deal with so that was nice.

Iv literally took donations there and they picked 2 or 3 items and told me "they can't take the rest" because "their dumpster is full".. obviously I wasn't donating trash! On top of the bs there, every time you visit this store you are greeted with a personal shadow that will follow you around the entire store to ensure you are not filling your pockets with their over priced, free to them inventory until you checkout or leave. If you leave without making a purchase they immediately run to the left side window and at least 2 of them stare you down like you robbed the place. Overall I would donate at a place that is much more appreciative and shop somewhere that is welcoming and actually wants you there. The owner and manager of this place are both the upmost rude women I have ever dealt with!

When I initially entered the store I thought, "Eww!". Then I said to my BF that it could use some TLC in here and he said, "It's a thrift store. Ease up!". So I said OK. And I walked around thinking that maybe my white neighbor was right and I'm a Bugie B???? Have I become some Bugie Thrift Store shopper???? If I have Oh well! I am that I am. And I love me some me! :) So I walked around looking at several different areas of the store. Thinking about demographics and so forth. Trying my best to "Ease Up!". Only to realize that this store just sucks! And that is all to it. Moments later my BF walked over and said, "Baby I'm sorry. You are right. This store is not as good as where you usually go." An apology from a man. I must record this date to my personal calendar. November 30, 2013. It's a small location and I am sure that most of the donations come from people that live in the area so It's not Goodwill's fault so I'll give it a 3 Star because it is well stocked. But then I remembered the cashier was having a temper tantrum out loud with her boss in the back and almost knocked me down trying to get to the back so she could fuss about needing to take her break. For this I must only give this spot a 2 Star. I'll post a few pictures later.
