The lack of attention to detail, lack of consistent responses, and increasing passive-aggression in…read moreShawn's sporadic responses are not things I value in anyone I do business with, let alone a travel agent who is supposed to be supportive in new experiences and adventures. First, when I reached out about an adults-only CRUISE for myself, my elder sister, and my septuagenarian parents in December, the FIRST option she sent back was an all-expenses paid RESORT with butler service. Those are two very different experiences, and the latter is not one I even alluded to desiring. Furthermore, she claimed she didn't receive some of my emails, and that she would provide an extra treat as an apology, yet ignored me every single time I asked outright what that extra treat was, then never actually followed-through on it. Speaking of not following through, the quote she sent me for my birthday trip in March had no details in it, and she never followed up with me, so I went with another travel agent who provided 5-star service that truly showed me how subpar this agency is. I took the bare bones quote as a sign of her increasing passive-aggression, as she often seemed annoyed or bothered by my questions instead of recognizing that she wasn't providing enough details which is what sparked so many questions in the first place. Like why do I have to ask about payment options instead of that being part of the conversation? That hotel she suggested we stay at before and after the cruise was terrible. It was loud, dirty, expensive for what it was, and had tons of children running around which is again something we expressed avoiding. And lastly, much to no one's surprise, I NEVER received a survey after my trip, and I was only sent ONE email asking about the 2-star rating I left on Google. She claimed to have sent me the survey, and several emails about the review, neither of which are true. I've never heard of Gmail supposedly failing so much for anyone else which led me to believe Shawn was purposely ignoring me and/or simply does not have the check and balances in place to make sure she follows up appropriately with her clients. I roll my eyes every time I see her on Fox 59 now because I feel like they either don't know how this business truly operates, or because only I was provided with unsatisfactory service which is not okay. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because we did actually have a great time on the cruise, and it was a decent match, but the amount of issues encountered along the way did not make it worth going through this agency.

We have worked with Will on two separate vacations, an Alaskan cruise and a Rhine River cruise…read more Both times his knowledge and advice were invaluable. We were clueless about how to plan and book these excursions, yet Will "held our hands" and made the process incredibly easy. We tended to come in narrowly focused on what we wanted; however, without being the least bit pushy, Will suggested other ideas to explore which ultimately gave us a better vacation. Communication is top notch, and it was obvious Will was closely monitoring the progress of our trips in real time. I can assure you we will be back when our next big vacation rolls around. Thank you!

The travel agency went above and beyond by sending us reminders, tips, and following up after our vacation. We felt they made extra efforts such as sending me a birthday card and even surprising us with a note and gift while on our vacation. Given our experience we will definitely be using Magnified Vacations CruiseOne Travel Agency in the future and highly recommend their service. Her birthday sash was not on the door, her and her roommate never received a double bed, nor was her beach birthday dinner planned as discussed multiple times via zoom. During the booking process Brenda was very reliable, so this was a shock to us when our trip came around and we quickly realized how the ball was dropped. My overseas flight was cancelled hours before departing time of course that's not her fault but we definitely didn't expect to be kicked to the curb how we was. She didn't help me or my friends get another flight out, and if we left it up to her we would have never even made it to our trip. I guess my best friend was aggravating her with asking for help accommodating us on another flight so she ended up blocking her. My friend called multiple times from her cell phone it went straight to voicemail, she called from her house phone and she immediately picked up. We finally found are own flight which ended up being a 15 hour, 3 plane process instead of our original 6 hours. We ended up missing a full day of our trip, she offered no accommodation nor reached out to our hotel to even see if we could stay an extra day to get what we paid for. When we contacted her to let her know our hotel said it was fine to extend our stay another night she told us the third party " Funjet" received a email from the hotel saying we could not stay. When we spoke with the hotel manager he denied them sending an email denying us another night. Within five minutes of speaking with the manager all 5 of us had new rooms keys and our rooms for an extra night. The only accommodation she made for us was reaching out to the airline and getting our returning flight extended. We have requested numerous times for an itemized list/ receipt as the prices were not adding up, we have yet to receive the list and has been back almost a month. The pricing is not making since as to why 1 person had their own room and paid $2,700 for everything and the other 2 rooms had 2 people in each room and they paid $2,500 per person to share a room. How is the same room I paid for $5,000 for my 2 friends instead of $1,400 if they are splitting the cost of the room ? We also began to ask other guest about there price and a few people told us they didn't nearly pay as much as we did. I definitely would recommend you do your own research before booking with Brenda. As a black business owner myself I hate to write such a nasty review but just want to inform others of what they may be getting themselves into.
