I've always been skeptical about that. However, my back pain was not going away and it wasn't getting better.. so what did I have to lose... I reluctantly decided to give it a shot. I searched for one that was the closest to me...And BPT popped up at the top of the list. I called and made an appointment with a friendly woman named Sue. She helped me out with everything that I needed. The day of my appointment came and I had no idea what to expect. But when I arrived I was shocked at what I saw. I witnessed a lot of laughter, Fun, music playing, learning And not to mention people were actually working out and healing. Then I happened to notice Sue was on the floor laughing and stretching with others. It was a room full of strangers who overtime got to know one another and Bond together as a family. When it was my turn I enjoyed it so much that I would ask for extra work to do just so that I could stay longer !! How crazy is that? Once I met Beth, I knew that God sent me here for a reason. Beth does not see patients as a number, she sees them as people in pain. Most people in her position treat the symptoms only. She tries to help you understand how the body works so you can alleviate the problem that's actually causing the symptoms. These two ladies treat you like family and not a patient. They truly care about your health and well-being and all the while make sure you have fun and bond with others while healing. The only thing I did not like about this experience... Was that it had to end ...because she healed me in only eight weeks. However, no amount of words could ever express my gratitude for the tagteam of Beth and Sue. If I were to talk to you through this site forever and ever I could not give them enough praise. If I were somehow able to get the worlds best poets from the past, present and future and ask them to describe these two ladies, their words would not be good enough. BPT should stand for Best Physical Therapy! If you are in need of a physical therapist, this is where you need to go!!! I'm so glad that they made a believer out of me and they will definitely make one out of you. I have given them this rating based on my experience with their staff prior to even meeting with them, as you may read below. I found Main Line Counseling & Wellness Center, Inc. through my insurance providers network, and reached out on March 7, 2016 to set up a meeting. They called me back almost 24 hours later which is not ideal but ok, because a 24 response policy is mentioned on their voicemail. Cool, but not as timely as the other reviewers experience. After speaking with an Intake Specialist on March 8, 2016, I was asked to fill out some initial information in an email, and asked to register online. Registration took about 30 full minutes, after which I confirmed my appointment for March 10, 2016 at 8pm. So far, so good. I was emailed a lengthy contract after registration, and spent about 45 minutes to 1 hour filling it out in preparation for my 8pm meeting on March 10, 2016. But at 4pm on March 10, 2016, I was called by their office to say that the therapist needed to reschedule due to an emergency, and that she would call me the next day to set up another appointment. I was disappointed to hear that, and more so that another date was not offered at the time of cancellation. I started to have my doubts about working with this group, but I had already invested about 1.5 hours, so, I thought I'd see where it went. Today, March 11, 2016, I got a call from the therapist and we set an appointment for 6pm tonight, March 11, 2016. I was glad to reschedule quickly, and curiously asked the therapist if the same expectations and handling of emergency cancellations applied to the patient side, given part of their contract states that patients are expected to pay for sessions if canceled with less than 24 hours notice. I wanted to know that the respect and understanding I had shown would be returned should I find myself needing to cancel due to an emergency with less than 24 hours notice. I was told that would be, and I was looking forward to my session at 6pm. However, one of their owners, Susan, called me shortly after to tell me she had canceled my 6pm appointment, because she felt we did not start off on the right foot, and that she felt there was not mutual trust due to the the therapists 4 hour cancellation, and my inquiry about the 24 hour cancellation policy for patients. I'm really disheartened and almost feel violated; I shared very intimate details about myself with people who I will never now meet. I also feel like I was told that I am not trust worthy simply because of my inquiry into how emergency cancellations are handled on the patient side, given their very lengthy and binding contract.

I've been going to Nancy for acupuncture for almost two years. She's great and really tries to make…read moreme feel as comfortable as possible during my visits. I'm sure the sessions are different for everyone depending on their pain issues. For me, I usually have a 30-minute acupuncture session (usually focused on my shoulders, feet, or back) followed up with cupping on my back. I believe the combination of my new medication and the acupuncture sessions with Nancy have really helped. Acupuncture isn't a cure for me, but it definitely helps me manage my joint pain and the flare ups I still have on occasion. Overall, I feel much better than I did two years ago. In fact, during my last visit, I had been experiencing joint pain in my hand and my hand was pretty swollen by the time I got to the office. Nancy focused the session around that, and when she took the needles out afterwards, the swelling was completely gone. I don't know why it works, but it does.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Vital Step…read more I've spent the last 4+ months or so with Delaila working on my rehabilitation after a severe, totaled car accident. On my first visit, I was still having a hard time breathing due to the pain when my lungs expanded. I couldn't turn my head/neck when driving, or turn around when someone called my name. If I coughed or sneezed, it felt like my ribs and spine were going to explode or break and was beyond a 10/10 pain. I was unable to roll over in bed, or get out of bed without falling to the floor. My first visit, I was very nervous, apprehensive and had set my self expectations that I would never be able to be physically active again. Delaila and her student performed an extensive initial evaluation to develop my treatment goals and plan. My goal was to get to 100% baseline, which previous to the accident I was a very active individual. Realistically, I didn't believe I would ever be able to since just breathing was difficult! Delaila is an amazing therapist - compassionate, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about getting her clients to their individual goal(s). The last few months, I have learned so much about my body and how and why we do certain exercises. Over time, I slowly started to notice decreased pain, increased mobility and increased strength. The exercises started to click and make sense. I'm about to be discharged next week and I have to say, I am stronger than I have ever been. I am doing exercises and skills I couldn't do even before the accident, I am in complete utter disbelief and awe at my recovery and forever thankful to Delaila as well as her staff both Liz and Lindsey are great. I had the honor of working with Lindsey for a few weeks as well, so you are in great hands with either therapist. I can't believe how far I've come - from not being able to breathe without pain, to now I'm back doing headstands and pole fitness/ aerial inversions I can't say enough good things about my time at Vital Step. With my experience, I highly highly recommend Vital step and especially my interactions with Delaila. You will work as a team to develop your goals, treatment programs and make sure to do all your PT homework /home exercises!
