The staff was welcoming and very kind, the service quick. I had a Tricolore Salad as a starter and it was nice, what I really loved was my pizza! After the meal I met the chef, an eclectic person! He learnt to cook in Italy and he can add his unique style to every dish. I loved this restaurant, the food is perfect value for money and I recommend it to everybody. What a pity I couldn't try the Pinot Grigio I've been recommended by the waitress, I was driving. I will definitely be back soon for another delicious meal.

There are two bars, on our visit, an empty public bar and a more used lounge, complete with cosy little reading corner tucked in beside the small bar, complete with settee and bookshelf. Across the room is a large, probably original fire, as there also is in the other bar. There is no car park although the cheap town centre car park is a short walk away and there is free dieabled parking opposite. A small choice of real ales were perfectly fine and the food a good average pub fare. Service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go there again although probably not until I have sampled the other pubs in beauitiful Chagford.
