Worked here for 3 shifts, one of which was a busy Sunday for 12 hours with a 5 minute break. Decided I wouldn't like to return. Subsequently I repeatedly had to remind the manager (Ben) to pay me (as he had agreed), after weeks and many requests I was paid the equivalent of £4ish/hour. In the weeks following my sub mininum wage payment, I informed Ben of his mistake and after missing two deadlines by which he promised to pay me the missing wage I gave up and called it quits. The food I tasted was very tasty however and the owner (and head chef) incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. I decided to write this review only so that potential visitors are aware of the kind of person managing, because I think the attitude and traits of a person will have a trickle-down effect to their work and therefore how patrons might be treated in a pub/restaurant such as the Three Tuns. Ben is an unfortunate addition to a pub I found to be otherwise stellar from my short time there. read more
