He was the perfect combo of clean lines and color we wanted. The studio was impeccably clean and there were movies playing for entertainment. We arrived for our tattoo and collaborated with him about what we wanted. What he came up with was perfect. My mother was so excited she went first. This was her first tattoo and he made her comfortable with the process. All three of us talked the whole time and had a great time. I was hypnotized watching him tattoo my arm. By the time we were done we were more than happy with our tattoos. We would both reccomend this place.

On Tuesday I took my 4 month old to get her lobes pierced and had an excellent experience. I called…read morein advance and scheduled an appointment with Shar. Once checked in, we picked out the jewelry and Shar explained the difference between the metal types and benefits. After picking out the earrings she went to prep her tools and piercing station and chatted with us as she went. Once she was ready to do the piercing she explained the process and thoroughly sanitized my baby's earlobes. Everything was very clean and Shar was very kind and gentle throughout the whole thing. Once the piercing was complete Shar reviewed the aftercare instructions and made sure we were knowledgeable about what to expect for the healing process. We would absolutely recommend Shar to anyone who is considering taking their children to get their lobes pierced.

This is absolutely the ONLY place in the super northern part of California to get a tattoo. Curt…read moreBaer and his entire crew are excellent artists. This place has international tattooists taking guest spots, and that says a lot for a shop in such a rural (ish) area. I personally have been tattooed by Curt twice, and his lines, detail, and saturation are on par with the best in the business. He's no nonsense, and when you sit down in his chair he tattoos you from start to finish, and asks a more than fair rate for the art you get. The environment is super chill, all of the artists are cool people, and the walls are plastered with beautiful art. There's an artist at this shop for anything you're looking for. Look at any of the artists portfolios, and you'll see that the other shops in town full of wannabe artists and scratchers with certificates aren't even competing. Don't waste your time with them, you'll just end up in Iron Mountain to get it covered anyway! Just because someone competed on a "reality" show, doesn't mean they have any real talent. The art speaks for itself.

On the last Friday the 13th flash day, my fiance and I went…read moreto Sacred Art, hoping to get a piece done by Chris. We made it early enough to be one of the 25 people put in a raffle for a free tattoo. However, they ran out of time on Friday the 13th and were unable to get to us in, but, they did reschedule for the following weekend. We paid in full- tip included-before leaving. The following weekend we show up and instead of Chris, Tawny was there. She was doing our tattoo's instead. Tawny took a long time to prepare, then, was inturrupted by a client who had an appointment with Chris. Tawny had to call him, he seemed to not have the client on his books even though she had proof of her deposit. Tawny was stuck telling the client to contact Chris through messenger to resolve the appointment. Ultimately, in the end, the whole experience was strange and uncomfortable. One of our tattoos is okay, the other is getting fixed by another artist, I will not go back, nor would I recommend Sacred Art, Tawny, or, Chris Aguirre. The business is unorganized and unprofessional, and, is in an obvious rapid decline.
