Hi, I'm the girl and I was the actual client. I loved my tattoo and Jesse is THE tattoo artist. Always welcomes me and starts amazing conversation and is very kind. I would genuinely never get a tattoo again if Jesse stopped being an artist. The building in a while is very nice and the other artists are very friendly and checked on my well-being after the man had left the building. If you want community AND a tattoo you'll love forever, this is the place!

We made it early enough to be one of the 25 people put in a raffle for a free tattoo. However, they ran out of time on Friday the 13th and were unable to get to us in, but, they did reschedule for the following weekend. We paid in full- tip included-before leaving. The following weekend we show up and instead of Chris, Tawny was there. She was doing our tattoo's instead. Tawny took a long time to prepare, then, was inturrupted by a client who had an appointment with Chris. Tawny had to call him, he seemed to not have the client on his books even though she had proof of her deposit. Tawny was stuck telling the client to contact Chris through messenger to resolve the appointment. Ultimately, in the end, the whole experience was strange and uncomfortable. One of our tattoos is okay, the other is getting fixed by another artist, I will not go back, nor would I recommend Sacred Art, Tawny, or, Chris Aguirre. The business is unorganized and unprofessional, and, is in an obvious rapid decline.

Back in April on a trip to Redding I decided I wanted to get a trending tattoo to recognize my daughter my best and beautiful took me to The Salty Sloth! This shop is stunning! From the minute you walk in you know you are going to be dealing with people who love what they do and take pride in what they do. Anywho I spoke with Todd explain I was interested in one of the stupid "trending" finger print tattoos that I'm a single mom with low funds but I really wanted something for my daughter and I'd be catching a train in two days. Todd not only came in early he had cartoons on for my kid he showed her step for step and turned her little drawings into the perfect finger prints! I told him about a small piece I have that was done under extreme pressure and I can not wait to go back and have the cover up done and changed into something beautiful. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my thigh piece. The work is immaculate, the shading and blending is a masterpiece. Not only is his work second to none but the stories of his life's antics made the time fly.
