The Eastham Ferry Hotel is nestled neatly between the beautiful surroundings of Eastham Country…read morePark and the River Mersey, so you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views over a glass of wine or pint. This is the perfect place to start or finish your exploration of the country park. The pub is family friendly and has a menu that accommodates for most tastes and the meals are two for one. It is well worth the money as the food is good, and, I believe, cooked fresh. We always stop here when we pop over for a trip to the park. There is plenty of seating as the pub is split into different areas and the beer garden is lovely on a nice day and offers lots of space for children to play while you relax. The exterior is well kept and suits its location perfectly; it has a seamless mix of old world charm and clean, chic design. People taking a jog or stroll on Otterspool promenade may have spotted the grand white facade of the pub over the water. The staff are always welcoming and the service is delivered to a high standard.

These pies didn't come from a frozen Asda box, if you know what I mean. It's also a convenient place to eat out after enjoying the nearby Eastham Country Park. I've eaten here twice now, and it's been a delight both times. The staff are extremely friendly and talkative (but not overbearing), and the pub itself is so pretty. It was built in the mid 1800's and is situated on the edge of the Mersey River, offering beautiful views. The interior is well decorated and clean. There is ample seating in several rooms, but I always prefer the booths and window seats so I can enjoy the views inside and outside while I eat. The pub is kid-friendly, and meals are two-for-one. There is even a function room upstairs that you can reserve for parties.
