All of the food was rich with traditional flavors. Onion, garlic, and chilis galore. The rice was moist and full of flavor and the beans tasted homemade and yummy. They definitely weren't and afterthought. The birria tacos with consomé got a rave review from my husband. He said they were one of the best things he's ever eaten. Oh and the corn tortillas were homemade and served piping hot. They gave us a ton of them. The salsa bar! I'll keep going back just for the salsa bar. If you love authentic Mexican salsas then you HAVE TO go to this place. The serving sizes were large and we brought a lot of the food home, enough for another meal easily.
