Owners Adam and Claudia are always so kind and accommodating. This was a last minute booking over the Memorial Day weekend. They got us set up for a ride with Steve which is always so enjoyable and educational! Steve is a wealth of information not only about the beautiful Big Horn Mountains, but being a multi-generation local his historical knowledge of the area and Buffalo makes the ride even that more enjoyable. Plus, they make a ton of beautiful yarn. And are a zero-waste place! Susie gave us the best tour we could have ever wished for. YARNOLD. Come visit the best sheep ever! You can feed him peanuts but he likes animal crackers better. He's a sweetheart and a unique sheep from Switzerland who loves tender face scratches. And his name is Yarnold. If he had a partner, maybe their name could be Knitney. :) I bought a hat and my friend bought a sweater. They make lifetime products here. Totally worth it.

A huge bonus is that it didn't smell like a typical museum, which I definitely appreciated. Very reasonable entrance fee, but free for blue star families such as mine. We opted to make a donation to show our appreciation. The 2 gals that were working were incredibly engaging and full of wonderful extra local suggestions as well. I've never tried a bison steak before so I went with that, and I personally wasn't a fan. Not because of the quality but just the nature of the meat is quite tough. But my friend ordered the prime, and it was huge! So he shared some of it with me and it was definitely the better of the two meets in my opinion. All the potato dishes were pretty good and to be honest the other entrees were just about average. Food was all slightly under seasoned and some items were definitely overcooked. But portions were generous and we even needed to leave for you to go boxes. Prices were also very reasonable. But what really makes this place special is the staff. Our server Tracy what's absolutely fantastic. She was kind, attentive and given that she's been working at Bozeman for a while...
