One of my favorite dishes! So delicious.

I am OBSESSED with this restaurant. The food is delicious and service is always top tier. I'm a frequent flyer and will continue to show my appreciation to these amazing servers and cooks. The ambience is laid back.

Great food and drinks. The staff is above and beyond great. They are full of recommendations and very attentive. I would definitely try the shrimp and grits/ my favorite!

Huge mushroom pieces inside my omelet :)

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and sat out front facing the street (they have indoor seating and outdoor seating out back as well). They were offering brunch so of course I went for a breakfast option, and my companion did as well. I ordered a coffee and chose their veggie and goat cheese omelet - it came with a side of potatoes - and my mom got their fried green tomato and fried egg BLT (sans egg). She subbed out the fries for sweet potato fries (up charge) and said the sandwich was good but the fries were seasoned with something a little spicy which she did not care for. I thought the spice was good but just an FYI if you aren't a fan of spicy things. The omelet was really good. The goat cheese looked like it was squeezed in so it was spread out within and not in pieces. The mushrooms inside the omelet were huge as well which I enjoyed. The potatoes on the side were good too! I didn't really like the coffee but everything else was solid. And our server was really good! They have live music there often also but sadly not on the day we were there. I would check them out again though. Thanks for a nice brunch, The Syndicate!

Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles

What a great restaurant in our small town. The food is amazing and the wait staff is so friendly and attentive. I believe our last visit our waitress's name was Rochelle. She brought out some warm rolls with some cinnamon butter. Delicious! For our main meals I got the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles. There were two large pieces of chicken that were cooked to perfection. The chicken was so moist and tender. The waffles were delicious. My wife got the Baked Burrata Stuffed Ravioli. She really enjoyed it. The only complaint she had was she didn't care for the bread that came with it. It was grilled and almost tasted burnt to her, but some people may enjoy it. We also got a couple of cocktails. The Syndicate Sangria and the Strawberry Peach Bourbon Smash. Please be advised that this is not an inexpensive restaurant but you get what you pay for. Excellent!

I had a hangover burger. It was cooked perfectly and the over easy egg on top was too! The fries were fresh and delicious as well. I went with a group of six for brunch and four of us got the burger and all liked it. The other meals were the chicken and waffles which were a hit...she said the waffle didn't have much of a sweet potato flavor which is good in my opinion. And someone else had the breakfast burrito which was huge and looked very tasty. Kaz was a great server and took care of us very well. The environment is swanky and pretty. I loved the living plant wall that we were seated next to.

Definitely a breath of fresh air right downtown! Cool atmosphere, combining an industrial and art deco design, while still paying homage to the history of Bellefontaine. Food is good, priced well for the quality. Great patio, live music, drink menu...what else could you want!

Biscuits and Gravy to go
Demi F.

I am not from the area but was driving through and craving breakfast. I found them and called in to order. The receptionist was very kind and when I asked if they were able to make any mocktails, she went to check with the bar who jumped on the phone with me and happily gave me many options to choose from. When I picked up my order, they were fast and courteous. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. One of the softest, butteriest biscuits I've ever had and the gravy was flavorful as well. The mock tail, a riff off a tequila sunrise, really hit the spot. I appreciated them accommodating my request as many don't! Very happy with my stop and I will be back if I go through the area.

We decided to check this place out on a Friday night. It wasn't busy and our party of 2 adults and…read more1 kid was seated promptly. I ordered the Manhattan and husband ordered a bourbon neat; the Manhattan was classically tasty, but the bourbon was a very small pour (though the prices are very reasonable). Kiddo had the lavender lemonade which was tasty. Husband and I both ordered the chicken fingers, he with the pimento Mac and cheese, and I ordered the jalapeño cornbread. Kiddo had eaten already but we ordered her the biscuits. The chicken was fantastic- seasoned well and not overcooked. It was served with tasty vinegary greens (wish I had more!) and thin-sliced watermelon. The Mac and cheese was good but light on the pimento; we enjoyed the Old Bay seasoned Ritz cracker crumble. The jalapeño cornbread was lacking heat but tasted good. I tried the biscuits and could eat the orange marmalade-ish jelly forever, though our kid didn't care for it. We came back the following week and this time tried the catfish and grits. The catfish was seasoned perfectly and very good; the grits were average, needing more seasoning and some cheese. It was busier this time but still great service. I enjoyed a Negroni and husband had a whiskey (better pour this time). Overall we've been impressed by the menu, service, and price. We'll be back and Hope this business can keep it up to offer some local variety in Marysville.

This review is strictly about their event room rental. We just had a baby shower there and it was…read moreless than ideal to put it nicely. They stated they had air conditioning upon reserving the room, they may have one mini split hanging on the wall but it makes 0 difference in the summer. I, 7 months pregnant was beyond uncomfortable and my guests were also very uncomfortable. We had to bring our own fans to the event to get some relief. Another thing, when we were setting up we asked to fill up our water pitcher and the staff working told us no, we couldn't use their tap water.. so someone had to go panic buy jugs of water at the store right before the party started. Would NOT recommending renting this room in the summer time unless you want to have an event in a room that feels like a sauna.

Place is super cute and the wine bar is set up like most. You walk in, they have lots of seating, they have a gift shop, a bar tasting area, and an outdoor area. We tried all the available whites by the glass. The Pinot Blanc was our favorite. So much so we ordered a bottle to go. The Riesling and rose were a close second favorite. Chardonnay was good too but it's buttery so maybe better suited (for me) in the colder season. Today was a hot day out. Ohhhh and the chocolate red wine tasted like a tootsie roll pop! So here's the deal- you can order flights of wine for $12 or you can create your own 1 ounce flight tastings for $1 each pour. We did the white flight and then ordered our 1 ounce pours of the other whites. Food- we had the chocolate, the small cheese board (not small, but a good serving size), and the hummus. Manager- my only recommendations: 1) Hummus app- use real cut carrots. Not the processed baby carrots 2) Sauvignon Blanc- use the one from New Zealand for the flight tasting. You'll get more likes Love the place overall and if I lived in the area I'd be back more often!

They were playing some kind of dice game that cost a dollar to join and if you roll a certain amount of dice you can win a free drink. The people at the bar ended up buying everyone a turn so of course we did to. The guy sitting near me, recommended a Creamsicle kind of drink, which was good, but I think I'll stick to my regular order. After looking at the menu, I decided to get Chunk N Dunks which is a thin layer of breading on a chicken nugget. It was very good, I got a side of ranch and a side of California gold after the recommendation of Nick, our bartender. My mom got a quesadilla that was FANTASTIC. After we ate, Nick offered to show us around the bar as it was pretty closed off since it had just snowed. During the summer, they have live music and a swim up bar that can hold around 200+ people. I cannot wait to come back to town for some shows and to meet new people as everyone around was so friendly. They also had a pool table and some games inside for people to be entertained during the winter. According to their website, they have a lot of activities going on including bingo, pool and darts and much more. Thank you again, Nick for showing us around. I cannot wait for summer to return and will update my review then.
