They couldn't have been more helpful through the process, especially with us not living in Toronto currently. A few days before our wedding we finally got to visit the space and everyone working there was SO nice and friendly, and answered all of our questions. The day of the wedding, everything went really smooth. The guy working that day was always around for anything we needed, and helped us during our tear down to make sure that everything was all set. They provide tables, chairs, sound system, coat racks, and the rest is basically just a blank canvas for you to work with! I highly recommend the Rousseau Room if you need an event space especially on a small budget!

Both of them are attention to detail oriented, have an admirable capacity for problem-solving and excellent communication and support services skills. My Mother, going on 86, still puts on Easter Dinner for us, and orders from here. Our Eastern European neighbours also order from Baby Point for gatherings. The food is excellent, although they don't serve some of the specialties of the region where my family is from. I can make those myself, though, so no problem! Interesting fact: most people I know call it Baby (like the crying one) Point, but people who have lived in that area for generations call it "Bobby Point". Can anyone tell me which one is correct? Aside from that, if you are in the mood for some good, traditional, Ukrainian food, Baby Point (however you pronounce it) is a great choice.

pavilion is a bit of a weird word...more like a park, or playground, or just a nice place to relax…read more when the lake doesn't smell terrible its a great place to come and mellow out, watch people work out, or watch the traffic slowly crawl by. bring some food and a blanket and just watch the day waste away, in the summer time a couple of snack shops are open, ice cream and pizza pizza, if im not mistaken. the beach is a great place to catch a tan, or trees if you want to catch some shade, I would NOT recommend swimming in the lake under any circumstance. lots of parking but you have to pay for it, transit options is the 501 streetcar with a bit of walking, and lots of room even in the busiest of months. the bathrooms are sometimes in a poor state, and sometimes not open. a great place to spend the day at, ultimate relaxation. sunrise's and sunset's are absolutely gorgeous here, bring a camera to catch the views and colors.

Being an entirely student led production we were a bit all over the place at times, but ira the venue manager was so kind and understanding and helpful to us at all points in the process. Hayden is a god w the lighting setup and helped us so much in getting the venue to replicate the vision we had in our heads. Alyssa was so kind and made all of our guests feel so welcome. Additionally, I'm not sure of his name but their security was also AMAZING and really helped us out in ensuring that all of our guests and team members felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole event. All of the guests commented on how nice it was to have a waterfront wedding venue within the city as it felt like you were up north at a cottage without the drive (and Uber friendly). There were no lines at the bar as I've experienced at some weddings, coordination of vendors was all taken care of and they even were accommodating with our all our drink choices and made some custom cocktails for us.
