Poor administration and communication. Misleading intake staff. Accepted then turned down my father.

This rehabilitation facility is so nice. The nursing staff are very kind and professional. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech will help your loved one make leaps and bounds. I would recommend to anyone needing short term rehab care. It's as nice as a hotel with a feel like home and the care of a hospital! read more

If I could pick zero I would have. My mom was there for 31 days. She was there for rehabilitation for a broken hip at 79 years old. In that 31 days she had 4 showers. I called everyday and talked with the head nurse Amanda, who would say, "if your mom wants to shower all she has to do is ask". When my mom would ask she was told " you are not scheduled today". 31 days and 4 showers!!!! She would push the call button and have to wait and wait. One night my mom actually peed in the trash can because nobody would come to the room. When I called the next day to talk with Amanda about this she said it didn't happen, but after questioning the early shift CNA she was told that "yes" my mom did have to pee in the trash can. I could go on and on about the staff not being held accountable due to COVID19 and family not being able to visit. When she was finally released they had my daughter and I take her to the car in her wheelchair, with no nurse or CNA. We had to go back in to get Amanda to help. Upon seeing how my mom was unable to raise her leg to step into the car Amanda said, " are you sure she is ready to go home"? Yet after finally getting her in the car we made it home. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

My mother stayed at this facility for over a year and we had to move her as the quality of the nursing staff has diminished since we first brought her there. Less and less nurses or assistants who are from the US, my mother couldn't communicate with the staff and they were always speaking in a foreign language around her, which made her uncomfortable. It also seems like every nurse is a smoker and my mom hated that everyone smelling heavily of cigarettes as she has always had a very sensitive sense of smell. The last straw was when she said some of the male assistant nurses were rude when helping her, so we moved her to another facility. The building is newer and nice, but the quality of the staff leaves to much to be desired. read more

Unfortunately this establishment does not treat their employees well, which thus results in a downhill slope of care for the residents. The organization is run by individuals who constantly seem to cut budget and expect the employees to deal with the consequences of that and pick up the slack from not having a fully staffed team. The esthetics are nice on the outside of the building and the front desk area yes, makeup is a deceiving thing. The food handling area is run by teenagers who haven't had quality training in food service, food safety, or cross contamination. The environment of the staff is deflated and tired, which no one can blame them given the circumstances. The rotation in staff is constant and every time I visit I see a new face, but not sure who they are given the lack of name tags. Seems to be a real lack of accountability and responsibility. When visiting the first floor resident refrigerator, I realized that many things were unlabeled, expired, and the whole place was a mess. Also, the CNA's seem to discuss someone named Brett often and complain of the lack of pay, or shortage of it. In fact, I haven't heard raved reviews of the management at all with every visit I take. Not sure who is in charge of different departments, but it seems to me that they are a sinking establishment that is taking advantage of the demographical area they are in. What a shame for anyone who chooses for their loved ones to be a part of this place because if they knew what was going on behind the scenes, I'm sure they would make a more quality choice in long term care. read more

This place is horrible and negligent of care. They do not care or do what they say, they treat patients like shit and assume they have dementia and will not remember the lack of care they don't receive. There are so many things I can say bad about this place and it has nothing to do with covid. This is not a rehab center but more or less a place where people will go to die and be locked in to pay for life to stay in this crap place. I plan to report this place and their staff for mal practice. read more

Very disappointed with the Management. My mother was there close to 3 years; during that time they promised better food, better help. Her last roommate was a menace; she would steal things from my mother, hit her, tear family pictures off her wall and one of the last horrible incidents, she threw my mother's dentures away. The only thing they would do was to tell us my mother could move to another room; she didn't want to because she was there first. My mother passed away the end of April there, in the middle of the Virus. After being there almost 3 years, you would think the management would at least call, show some empathy and compassion or send a card, but we never heard a word from them. It seems the all mighty $ has more precedence. If I had it to do all over again with them, I wouldn't. p.s., several times during the Covid I would call to get an update on my mother, and each time I would get hung up on when the call was transferred to her floor. Why couldn't who ever answered just say they were too busy or whatever instead of hanging up on me.... unprofessional... read more

Normally I wouldn't do this but I have another family member that is going to have to be placed in a nursing home. I want people to know how unprofessional this place is. During this pandemic, I had a family member that was placed here. We were able to come in and see her before she passed away. This was a nice gesture. But.....while my family and myself were in the room saying our good-byes, Amanda (nurse) came in and was COMPLETELY disrespectful as she barged in yelling at us and argued with Brittany (who is part of the Social Services department and a very kind soul) who was there with us. Amanda was telling us to leave, we could not be there when we had a special set up to see and say good-bye to our loved one. No apologies were given except by Brittany who was completely embarrassed. I'm sure I will be contacted from this place after I post this. Not what I want or need. I only want people to be aware that this place has people like Amanda that will not only treat you bad, but your loved one as well. With her actions as a nurse, imagine how the other nurses in this place will treat your family and you. Do your loved ones a favor and find another nursing home. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could!! This place is a nightmare. So... my wife spend around 3 days there. They refused to give her medications to her on time. The nurse said she had 14 residents to do and apparently it takes her 2-3 hours to do them all. My wife's time sensitive meds were repeatedly delayed up to 4 hours at a time. She was in severe pain and crying on the phone every time I called her. Apparently the staff are so used to residents crying in their rooms that they do not check on them when it happens. My wife tried to advocate for herself and the staff told her they are not going to do a thing for her. When I called to advocate for her the charge nurse yelled at me on the phone and hung up while I was still talking. She refused to hear a word I was saying. I can only imagine how she treats the residents since staff usually tend to be extra nice to relatives. If you have any choice in the matter PLEASE do not send your relatives there! My wife, a normally happy and upbeat person, became suicidal after 3 days there and had to be send to the hospital. I have no words for that. Administration would try to sweet talk you but they don't take a swift and decisive action with the nurses and so the abuse continues read more

My stepfather spent over a month at The Suites@ Parker doing rehab after a pelvic fracture, and we couldn't be happier. Their staff was very helpful and respectful to my dad, kept him clean and comfortable and even wrote down the football schedule of his favorite team and posted it on his wall so he wouldn't miss the games! Their in-house rehabilitation group was very patient with a sometimes difficult, reluctant client and did a wonderful job getting him back to a level of ability so we could move him back to his assisted living home. The food was a bit inconsistent but honestly, his complaints were rare. All in all, we were more than pleased! read more

It has been wonderful working with this facility. Each time I visit, the staff is very friendly, residents look happy, and the activities are engaging. Their discharge planning is excellent, and the facility is very well kept. read more
