The whole experience started badly when once again the phone was answered and before i was able to even ask for the first part of our order I was bluntly told 'can you just hold one one minute' to which the man proceeded to answer another call and take the order...whilst I was stupid enough to keep holding whilst listening to him happily taking the order from the other line! I mean how rude! not even an apology, and tbh this has happened many times when I have called to order. On this particular occasion the food arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes after the order was placed even though we were advised it would take 45 mins to an hour. When the food did arrive late because the driver got lost (let me point out again that we have had food delivered to this address for several years) although the driver did apologize the food was cold... When the driver called Hot and Spice after we requested some discount (£10 we requested that's all after a party of 8 had ordered) Hot and Spice refused this and would only discount a measly £5! The whole evening with friends was ruined after one by one we had to heat our food up in the microwave, and the rudeness and couldn't care less attitude was shown once too often.
