I will forever recommend this place! I have a 10-year-old Doberman and have used the strutting pooch for pet sitting on three separate occasions now, each time for over four days. Before our first scheduled sit, we had a get to know you meeting with the sitter and my dog, and they were beyond helpful and eased all of my worries. They take detailed notes on the specific needs of my dog, and take the time to really understand how to best care for her. My dog has some separation anxiety, and I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm a helicopter mom, but the sitter did an amazing job looking after her and she is so happy to see them each time! At the end of each visit, they send a recap of how it went and send pictures! It's almost as detailed as a kiddo's daycare recap (I have compared haha). Strutting Pooch has been a life saver for my roommate and I... We have a 4 year old Pomeranian and a 1.5 year old Rottie/Dobie Mix. They always make sure our dogs are happy and healthy! My favorite experience was when we had a walk scheduled when my roommate was home sick (the walker didn't know she was home and could hear her), when she saw our pups she immediately started talking to them and loving on them just like we do everyday when we get home. The Strutting Pooch has come and taken care of my Abby & Tiggy for two of my vacations now, and I absolutely loved their services! It is so much more comforting to have my pups be able to stay in the comfort of their own home, and know they are being well taken care of when I am gone. This company is top notch and classy. If you're looking for people who will love your pet and make them comfortable while away from home, I strongly recommend Chris, Sylvia, and their team. They have helped me since day one of having Finn, my mini Aussie (1.6 yo). They are always looking for ways to make their customers happy (both fur and human), and it's such peace of mind knowing my little guy is in good care. I've used their daycare, walkers, and overnight services, and have been extremely thankful to have them available any time my busy work schedule has demanded me to be away from home. They may be a bit on the higher priced side, but to me, it's worth him having a house to be at instead of a concrete play pen like other places around. I also know what dogs are regularly there- not 10-15 where your dog will be overstimulated and overwhelmed. Finn gets lots of love and care with any of their services- he cries with excitement just pulling into their driveway for daycare. This place can't be understated. They are awesome. read more
