The artist who buys and creates for this store is Candice Carnes-- I had the pleasure of meeting her mom while I browsed. Anytime I see the words 'infinite' and 'curiosities' in the same sentence I am excited, and this shop did not disappoint. Candice has a good eye and is a talented buyer for this store-- there are quite a few novelty pocket watches. I bought a Harry Potter snitch locket watch that I just really adore. The shopkeeper found a ribbon for me to put it on since I am allergic to most metals. I also found a cool silk fish windsock. Many of the items here are made by Carnes and include funky jewelry and Christmas ornaments made from old motherboards. Jewelry made from old buttons and charms. Necklaces of frozen Charlottes-- vintage porcelain baby dolls dug up from the toy factory years later. Her designs feature creepy and wonderful baby doll eyes that open and close. The Shop of Infinite Curiosities in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a great place to go gift shopping or to find a fun and unique giftie for yourself. After telling me the flavors, this employee was eager to hang up on me, and I proceeded to ask, "when will you get more in stock". I'm not sure how accurate this answer is, but I was just told, "I don't know, maybe not for weeks". Just from this interaction, I will NOT visit or support this store. This employee was definitely not the owner, but I'm sure this is the same rude lady from Tammy's review. If you call or visit, be warned that there is a chance that you will interact with this lady and be treated like trash. Very nice.

I was able to get a couple nice things for myself as well as a great gift for a friend back home who dog sat my furry companion. The store is pretty big and virtually every inch has something interesting to consider buying. I wish the online store featured more of the items actually sold in store because I'd probably buy a cactus for myself after seeing the one I bought my friend. The salesperson also gave us some tips on where to visit while we were in the area. She was really friendly and a great resource for us. If you only get a chance to visit one gift shop in the area I'd say this one is your best bet!

I Couldn't find the sizes I needed at the Green Jeans location and was told they'd be at the Tin Can Alley spot. So we drove over and sure enough we found what we were looking for. Great selection of shirts and New Mexico memorabilia. I think the Green Jeans location has more of a selection, but the Tin Can Alley one had the sizes we needed. Be sure to check it out!

Not sure exactly what kinda shop it was I knew I just had to take a peak. Walking in I was immediately welcomed and greeted by the staff. Not sure exactly what kinda products the store had I found myself looking at everything. Within the first few minutes I discovered it's was a lot of New Mexican themed items like shirts with the Zia symbols. A lot of cool pins. I found one in particular that was a name tag with the "hello my name is" and in the blank read "Cabrón". They also had the female version with "Cabróna". Boy did I get a good laugh. I just had to buy one for me and my dad. I also found some cool breaking bad themed magnets there. They even had chili pepper pens! The place was really cool, and I'm glad I stopped in. Next time I'm in the area I'll gladly come back. Might need some more of those hilarious name tags! They were so cool even the chef Aaron May who was a special guest at the 25 years of flavor for a good laugh. Everyone thought that was really my name it was great lol thanks again Brotique!
