I cannot say enough good things about The Springs at Butte. As I watch my parents age and become more reliant on the people (family) around them it is a huge relief to know that The Springs has stepped in and provided not just a place for them to live, but a HOME for them to thrive in. I have seen my dad go from depressed and simply unwilling to take part in living to the smiling, active, joking dad I've always known. On those days that's he's not himself (more and more now), I KNOW that he is still heard and he is loved and cared for. My mom is kept active and involved in so many different things, too! She helps in the greenhouse, takes walks, gets to go shopping and take outings to all sorts of interesting places! I am so thankful to have a place like The Springs in our lives. The facility is beautiful and made more so by the people who work there. Faith is so compassionate and invested in the people she and her team take care of. Honestly... The Springs at Butte has EARNED 10 STARS in our book! The commitment to REAL quality of care starts at the top and is seen across the entire staff! We struggled trying to find our father a safe, healthy, warm, welcoming, fun, and caring environment. Where the services promised were the services delivered. Where advocating for our loved one was not an issue because they took their promises and the quality of life for our loved one seriously. It wasn't until we moved our father to The Springs at Butte that we finally found that PERFECT place! Here is just a short summary of what we've found to be absolutely true about The Springs at Butte: HOME ATMOSPHERE: They offered our father a loving home environment as opposed to an "institutional" environment. The decor is rich, warm, and welcoming. Beautiful pictures, warm and cozy fireplaces, and mountain retreat architecture. Our dad was at other highly-rated Senior Living facilities and was very unhappy... At The Springs it is all about providing a very happy, welcoming and truly cared-for environment. The staff consistently goes out of their way to ensure each and every resident is treated respectfully, kindly, and caringly... each and every hour of each and every day. Dad is now so much happier! WHAT THEY PROMISE IS WHAT THEY DELIVER: We wanted to be able to sleep at night knowing our father was getting the care, attention, and compassion he needed to live as healthy and happy a life as possible... that he was getting the services we were promised and we paid for. We have NOT HAD TO ADVOCATE for single promised service since we moved him there!! NOT ONE! Seriously.. NOT ONE! FULFILLED LIFE: Our father desperately needed to be engaged. Not only did we find that The Springs offers a rich variety of activities geared to give every single resident an opportunity to be engaged inside in fun and fulfilling activities but they go OUT OF THEIR WAY to offer residents an opportunity to get out and experience activities outside the complex... shopping, meals, museums, plays, visiting friends and family at their homes, gardening, trips to Virginia City, and the list goes on and on. They offer and ENCOURAGE healthy and happy social experiences. It is not a place to retire... it is a place to LIVE! HOLIDAYS ARE THE BEST! From Cinco de Mayo to Mother's Day to Easter and Christmas... just to name a few. It is always a fun, over-the-top celebration for THE WHOLE FAMILY! Trust us when we say we have NEVER written a review like this before... but as the children of a much-loved parent struggling to find the best opportunity for our dad to live a happy healthy life... we felt sure there were also others struggling and wanted to give you a heads-up on a GREAT senior living experience.
