Cute little smoothie and açaí bowl spot in Wexford. The owner was there and super friendly! I got the cinna bean smoothie with vanilla protein added. It was thick, creamy, and delicious. It was quite sweet but not chalky like some protein powders. Can't wait to go back and try one of the bowls! read more

I've driven past this place multiple times on the way to get onto 79 but only recently stopped in to get an acai bowl. The plaza is conveniently located close to Soergel's right off the freeway and there is an easily accessible parking lot right outside. There are a handful of seats inside but I think most people take their orders to go. I went on a Sunday and it was packed!! Because there were so many people and only two people working, it took a really long time to get orders out. The girls were so incredibly sweet but I felt really bad about how short-staffed they were. This caused long wait times (half my order came out after 25 mins, the other half at 40 mins). That being said, the food itself was really good. I would definitely come back - but during a non-peak time. read more

I enjoy getting açaí bowls at The spot in Wexford, one of 2 locations in Greater Pittsburgh. It's conveniently located near the I79 Wexford exit. I highly recommend the Raz, Black and blue bowl. It's my favorite. The other menu items look equally good. I remember how helpful the staff were at my first visit explaining the different bowls and ingredients. Stop in if you enjoy healthy açaí bowls, too. read more

Smoothies were great! Biscotti they had displayed was pretty good and crunchy. Ambiance could've had some music but it was fine. The service was what will stop me from considering this place again. I initiated a hello and just got a smile, when smoothies were ready they didn't hand us our biscotti or tell me and my wife which smoothie is which our say anything else like have a good day. So happy I finally stopped in here today on a hot summer day. I pass here weekly and never really thought to stop, but wow have I been missing out! The employee working was super friendly. I ordered the Sunset Smoothie and it was one of the best smoothies I ever had. So refreshing and the coconut pieces made me feel like I was at the beach! Each month I get to the North Hills of Pittsburgh, we pass by "The Spot" on our way to the farms. I've been wanting to try it, as I like the other similar types of fruit bowl businesses in our area of NJ and Harrisburg. When first walking in we were greeted by a very customer focused staff. They were smiling and welcoming with their hellos. Our order was taken immediately We had a few people ahead of us so between that and others that came in after us, we waited quite a while. We ordered the island açaí bowl and the pretty in pink bowl without coconut to go. Both very good and refreshing. Also ordered an iced almond milk latte with hazelnut and that was good too. The place was clean and the worker was nice. We will be back soon! read more

Supposed to be open til 5:30pm. Pulled up at 5:16pm & front lights were out & door locked. Could clearly see back kitchen lights were on & someone is still here at 5:22. If you're going to close up early to clean up, change your hours. We drove 15min out of our way to come here because we found you on a google maps search. Disappointing. read more

Been to this place and it looks and smells really bad, bathroom is unclean and just the environment is awful, I had a smoothie and made me sick for a day, I wouldn't recommend this unhealthy and nasty place to anyone, management was rude and unprofessional, i should've read the health violation warnings about this place I wish it's shot down for good read more

The best place in town for a real smoothie!! We're from the west coast and flew in to Pittsburgh to see family. We stopped by for a quick pit stop and found this great spot. I did get lavender as a flavor shot because some shops are either a hit or a miss with lavender (or any flavor where you can't taste it). I could definitely taste the lavender in here and it was really refreshing. To the gluten free community, this muffin was so good. I wish I remembered the name of who made it but it wasn't too sweet for being a muffin and was really good especially warmed. I felt like I was enjoying a balance of both sweet and refreshing than an overkill. I am also one of those people that would put chocolate with my matcha and possibly lavender as it combines really well. I definitely want to come back and try their coffee drinks as I'm curious about it. Another positive is their parking and getting out of the lot isn't so scary as there is a light and you don't have to risk your life trying to cut across the highway to get where you're going. The only complaint I would have, though it was a lovely treat, is that the pricing seemed a lot higher than what I'm used to paying at other local coffee shops. I felt like $1 for non-dairy milk is odd when a lot of other shops charge either 0 to .50 cents max and I felt like the drink overall was more pricey than if I went to another shop for a matcha. I don't know how often I will be back but it was nice to try it. (Gluten free stuff is always pricey so I can't complain about that..)

Despite my temporary inability to taste anything, I was delighted by the Buffalo chicken melt I ordered at Spring and Main Cafe. The atmosphere was trendy, yet not annoyingly so. The water was excellent and very refreshing. I asked the friendly chap at the counter what kind it was, but he said it was just tap. That's how I like mine anyway. Softies and their bottled water wouldn't make it in the real world.

Egg whites, Canadian bacon, and cheese on a toasted English muffin was everything I wanted. We got our sandwiches within 5 minutes of sitting down, and it had the yummy right-off-the-griddle taste!
