I try not to complain due to how everyone's body is different and a piercer is not 100 percent sure of what someone body will do, however. I got pierced with not nearly enough bar in my navel, and when I asked the artist if it was going to be okay and I asked if we had a longer bar, she stated it would "probably be fine". I didn't mind the piercing experience, she was very polite and nice. but I am super upset due to how much physical pain I am in because of the shorter bar. when I brought up the idea of a floating navel instead, she stated "the normal would be fine". now I'm in a very good deal of pain and having to remove my piercing. read more

I came here for my first tattoo and brought my boyfriend (who has had many tattoos before). It turned out similar to how I'd hoped, I am happy with the tattoo itself but Cesar was my artist and I feel like his hospitality was very lacking. He hardly spoke to me from the second I walked in the door, didn't talk to me at all about what he was doing, and never talked to me after about care for my new tattoo, or coming in for a touch up in a month, which I learned later is pretty standard? Overall, this tattoo place itself is great. Very clean and a good price, but Cesar isn't great. Attached in the picture I brought in of what I wanted, and my tattoo about 2 weeks after getting it done. It's not perfect, but it'll do. I went in a second time to get my bellybutton pierced and another tattoo on my foot. After reading more reviews on here I insisted Jami do it. He was so great!! Very friendly and sociable and did a perfect job! I got a tattoo of my dog's paw on my foot. I brought in a stamp I'd done of her foot and it looks just like it! I'm so happy with Jami's work. Would definitely use him again. I don't remember the piercer's name but he did a great job too. I will update this review as they heal. It's now been about 9 months since my first tattoo. After getting my second, and talking to other tattoo artists/ living with my wrist tattoo I am realizing they did not do a great job on my rose. The green is far too light, the black thorns stand out and don't look right, and overall it just looks cheap. I will be going elsewhere to get it touched up. I finally decided to get my first tattoos done. After looking around and doing some research, I decided to go to the Spider's Web and have Charles be my artist. Best decision ever. Charles did an outstanding job and my tattoos turned out better than I hoped. Because it was my first time, I was a little nervous, but he talked to me and my wife the whole time which helped put me at ease. Also, he likes cats, which was cool, because I like cats too. I'm never one to leave a bad review for a place. I work in customer service, and I understand the customer isn't always right and that sometimes, staff has bad days. However, the problems and pain I've experienced can't really be chalked up to a "bad day," but rather, complete and utter negligence. I went in for a daith piercing October 2016. As of August 2017, it had not healed in any way, and was removed by a piercer at a different shop. I'm not new to piercings. I have several that have healed without any issue. I can't remember his name, but if your piercer looks like a high school kid with long, black hair, GET OUT. Despite how long he took to mark the spots, the daith was not even pierced!! During the piercing, he took 15 (extremely painful) minutes to slowly navigate the needle through my inner ear's cartilage, and out through the top of my daith. I have never experienced pain like that. It genuinely felt like my inner ear was being carved. Getting the jewlery in was another story. Looking back, no wonder it was so painful and the boy struggled so bad- the entire placing was horribly incorrect. For the months following, I struggled with painful swelling and keloids (pictured). I know how to care for a piercing, I followed a religious regimen of sea salt soaks and rinsing the ear while I showered. The keloids never went down. Upon removing the jewelry, the keloids remain. Piercings shouldn't be such an ordeal. When I got my other ear's daith pierced at Suba's in Victor, it was over by the time I exhaled. I didn't even notice the jewelry going in. A word of advice on daith jewlery, if hold the ring in your fingers and bend it, it should move. The ring I got at Spider's Web was inflexible. $60 for a lesson hard learned. I have gone in to Spiders Web in the months prior to seek advice and was always told to come back later in the day because they couldn't help me. Couldn't spare the 5 minutes it would take to say, "Yeah that's messed up, let's take it out." and save me months of trying to heal the keloid scars. Maybe they just don't want to own up to their mistakes. You tell me. To the piercer, if you can't say with 110% confidence that you're able to do a piercing, DON'T DO IT. I would have happily waited until later in the week until someone else was in. Drive the extra 30 minutes to Victor and go to Suba's. Unlike Spiders Web, they are APP certified and know their stuff. I only wish I had known they existed before suffering through Spider's Web! read more

I went to get an industrial piercing and a forward helix. The piercing itself was great, This was not my first piercing and I can say that Leon did a great job piercing my ears. I only gave them 3 stars though because on my industrial they put a bar that was too short and I was getting a keloid. I know my body and I knew that was not normal. My forward helix was healing just fine it was just my industrial. I called and asked to get it changed and they told me I just needed to clean it, I know how to take care of my piercings. Then I went in and even after looking at my piercing and seeing the bumps the guy at the front STILL told me that I needed to clean it and my jewelry was fine. I should have stood my ground. The next week I went to a different piercer and they told me what I already knew, my bar was too short and it was causing pressure bumps filled with puss. They were not keloids which is what he kept telling me they were! They had to drain the bumps and they changed my bar. Which when I went into the shop the guy at the front desk said "if we change it it's only going to hurt you." As soon as they changed my jewelry I felt 100% relief! If you feel like something is wrong with your piercing stand your ground! You know your body better than they do! Don't be intimidated because they have a piercing on their forehead! My industrial is healing way better now, I'm still cleaning it and i know it's going to take a while to heal but it feels way better now. I have no bumps whatsoever. read more

I've been in communication with Spiders Web tattoo since October 9th, and in contact with Cesar since the 12th. I simply wanted to come in and place my deposit and discuss the work I wanted done and schedule. Cesar tells me he'll be out of the office for a week. Ok cool, see ya next week. I message him that week, he's still not back. Says he's recovering from surgery, but he'll for sure be back in the shop Friday. Told the girl at the front desk, she said no one knows when he'll be back, and was unaware of his surgery. I don't know what the truth is, nor do I care, I am literally trying to give you my money and this is how I was treated. They must be doing a booming business because they can allow $1000 dollar tattoo clients to walk away because of their inability to know who's working in the shop at any given time, poor telephone etiquette and lack of trying to be of assistance by asking for a return phone number. Talked to Jamie on Thursday and after discussing all the details of getting tattoo's, he said to give him a call when we were ready to set up an appointment. Called Friday at 1230 to set up said appointment and was told that they hadn't seen Jamie yet and to call back in an hour. Called 1.5 hours later and the phone rang off the hook (30 rings). Called an hour later and was told that they still hadn't seen Jamie. At this point I asked if they (tattooist's) had a schedule and was told that "they come and go as they please". I've been here twice. Once with my mother to get her first tattoo and later on to get my belly button pierced. When I went with my mother to get her tattoo done the artist had his two children with him in the room. That alone was unprofessional enough. I would have been more understanding had my mothers tattoo been in a different place. She had a large scar down the middle of her breasts from a tumor she had when she was younger. The tattoo was done to cover up her scar. So he had his two young children in the room while my mother was getting a tattoo between and under her breasts. This made me furious, but my mother was too kind to say anything about the situation. Later on a month or two later after I turned 18 I decided to get my bellybutton pierced. I rely did not want to go there to get it done because of my past experience, but they were the only people in town that would take a walk in appointment for a reasonable price. I was exited to get my first ever piercing and i was with my friend. When I got into the room it was dead silent and i was trying to make some conversation to make myself less nervous. I didn't get any small talk from them what so ever. That just made punching a needle trough my stomach even more uncomfortable then it already was. read more

the other day i was here with my hispanic boyfriend (this will come in handy later), kyle was the person at the front desk and although he let us see the piercings (my boyfriend is getting his ears pierced by his aunt later this week) his attitude was horrible but it wasnt so bad as to the fact i had to write a review; however, we came in yesterday and kyle was working again. kyle had multiple people come in while we were there and ignored them having at least three people (as well as one couple) walk out. so, when it came to us i specifically asked him "can we see the piercings like last time?" he then looked at me and then looked at my boyfriend and ignored us and said "im busy, i have to pierce this girl". that came off as weird to me but i didnt question it. after he was done he then asked us again," so what do you want. if youre not getting them pierced why are you here" and i said exactly what i told you guys. he then points to the sign that basically says," get the fuck out." which thats fine and thats what we later though when my boyfriend went home he was talking to his sister about it. she mentioned how her boyfriends brother was in there and he acted the exact same way.. also that when he was getting a tattoo the hispanic person who tattooed said "kyle always does that to hispanic guys. we dont know why but he will turn you away for no reason at all." absolutely ridiculous, ive had my nose and cartilage pierced and no one else was ever this unprofessional. update: ive had at least other people that i've talked to mention how horrible kyle is when it comes to them or other people. one of my friends said that while leon (hes great btw) was getting someone ready, kyle, was sitting on his ass not wanting to help anyone and eating, though it wasn't his time to go on break. and leon, yes, i know there is hispanic workers, i never said that there wasnt. im bringing light to an obvious problem that you have within your work place/community. you ignored everything else that i said for some minimal response, how disappointing read more

Went in for belly button piercing. I was nervous and with a friend and we were laughing and trying to make it a good experience. Neither the front desk guy or the person who pierced me had anything to say at all. Did not talk or talk to me, did not tell me he was going to do it now, ask if I was ok. Nothing. I would never get my first tattoo here bc i imagine the silence and not a fun time at all! Ended up having to take it out after 6 months, it was still infected. I went in to get a tragus piercing done at The Spider's Web, because I read and heard great things about this place. The piercing went fine, minimal pain the guy that did it was very nice, but a hour later the ball came off the hoop earring. Being at work at the time I was going to stop by after work since the website said open till 9:30, I got done with work at 8. Walked up to the door it was locked, no lights on, but a couple cars were in the parking lot. I knocked on the door and got no answer.
