I was very satisfied with the service I got. I requested translation of a couple documents into Brazilian Portuguese. They did an excellent job of following up with questions and clarifications of what I needed and what was required for the government, and were very responsive in answering any questions I had. read more

Incredible customer service and very attentive and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was charged twice. It was my first time using this company, and I spoke to about four different representatives. The first time, they told me no information had been submitted, so they made me do it all over again. When I saw the transactions, I called back and spent about an hour on the phone, but of course, they didn't resolve anything. A very bad company. read more

Deceptive Company - Avoid at All Costs This company became blatantly deceptive after we completed the quote, confirmation, and payment process. Once they had our money, they claimed the word count was incorrect and demanded more money. When challenged, they backtracked -- only to then claim confusion about the expedited service we had already been quoted and paid for. I sent them a copy of their own order confirmation, which clearly included "urgent translation and apostille service." Their response? Ignore the documentation and demand an additional $100 anyway. When we requested a cancellation and full refund -- less than an hour after payment -- they went silent. Despite advertising a "cancel for a full refund" policy, they have been completely unresponsive via phone and email. Do not trust this company. They are disorganized at best and dishonest at worst. read more

Warning don't get ripped off! was excited to find a translation company that could handle my NLV Spanish Visa documents for Sworn Translation. The customer service agents were amazingly helpful. But when it came time to receive my quote is was so far out of line that I would never consider working with this company. The same documents that several other companies/individuals who are Sworn Translators for the Spanish Government, were giving quotes of $30 to 40 dollars a document, this company wanted to change me for each word. And this company gave me an estimate of $2891.00 it wasn't even in a ballpark I would consider paying since my cost for the same documents was quoted at $350 total from two other sources. I was appalled that they would take such advantage of people like that! I ended up directly dealing with a fantastic gal from another company in Spain. Her English was excellent and she got everything done very quickly. Please be forewarned to not use THE SPANISH GROUP and get ripped off, there are plenty of fantastic Official Sworn Spanish Translators out there who charge reasonable, fair prices and do excellent work. read more

The Spanish Group - This is a picture of part of the email I received with the quote. - Translation Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The Spanish Group did an excellent job for us. They responded to our inquiry very promptly. The price they quoted us was the lowest of all the translation services we researched. Our translated documents were returned to us within two business days, as promised. They were completely professional and did a great job. read more

Submitted a quote to see the price. Got a call in like an hour saying that bc I didn't complete the form to not hesitate and proceed. What was that?? Thank goodness for them making that call before even proceeding so I know not to trust them with services not to pay this place. read more

Pay and then charge more. Make sure you get a quote beforehand. Don't be too confident if the documents you upload give you a price. Then they send you emails charging more money. They should care more about customer satisfaction. A satisfied customer recommends and returns to where they were well served. read more

Bait and switch. Please don't buy their Spanish translation service for Spanish immigration. They are not real sworn translators and will deliberately sell you the wrong thing, which will jeopardize your visa, then will try to upsell you the actual sworn translation at 5x the cost. You'll be lucky to get a refund. read more

Great customer service, great company Definitely recommend !!! Don't hesitate to use it Quick response whatever you needs are read more

I needed to get documents translated and sent to the apostille for my custody case. They were prompt when providing a quote - both cost and timeline. When i paid, that was the end of their customer service. I emailed my "contact" several times, no response. I called and would get a vague answer and get put on hold when i asked for details - only to wait 45 mins and then get cut off. This happened repeatedly. When i expected the documents to be arriving AT my lawyers' office, because they told me they were complete just awaiting FedEx tracking number, they went silent again. only after i pressed by phone and many emails, did i get a response - saying it would be another week!! This would require i change my International court date!! I am beginning to think this is a scam company and am looking into putting in a claim with my bank and the BBB. I still cannot get someone to call me - eventhough they claim they have tried - no message, no missed calls - so this only adds to the lack of transparency. read more

The service I requested was satisfactory, fast, I really value the time they took to find out if I was satisfied with the job done. I really will recommend them to people. read more

I needed a certified translation for a birth certificate, and I shopped around, as I never had to do this online, and I was kind of worried to send out important docs first in order to get a quote. I came across these folks from The Spanish Group and I was impressed indeed about their prompt response, absolutely great communication and customer service, and the translated document provided, it looks just like the original but in Spanish. I have to admit they had the most convenient rate, as I found rates from $25 to $125 for the same doc. I really think they want to stand out and everybody is on the same page. And what gave me confidence were the reviews on BBB, so I thought it would help out somebody else in taking their decision. Thank you, TSG, and I'll know who to turn to, for any future translation. read more

they told me to contact Ecuador authorities to confirm what I need, Ecuador officials told me not to use a third party for translation but to bring my original documents to Ecuador, this was at the request of the Spanish group LLC, when I requested a refund, they told me they will check up on it, but still, they are the ones that told me to reach out, and I did, i told them the response, so I should be entitled to a refund, and until I get my refund they get 1 star. read more

Quick and easy process. Quality translation in the right format and certified! Would recommend

I've had a few short pieces of writing translated by The Spanish Group and was shocked at how easy and user-friendly the whole process was each time. I was worried getting my writing translated was going to be a headache but, really, it's been no hassle at all and has made my writing more accessible to wider audiences. I also recently recommended them to my workplace and have had such a pleasant experience with the back and forth with the representative about quotes and all my pesky red tape questions. They've been prompt, patient, and so helpful - even offered us a nonprofit discount. read more

Horrible service. Called them to request my invoices. I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, finally spoke with someone just to be transferred, I was placed on hold AGAIN for more than 5 minutes this time. All for the next rep to click on me because "she can't hear me". Now, no one wants to answer the phones. NEVER using this service again read more

Exactly what I was looking for. I had to get my birth certificate translated and The Spanish Group made it easy all I had to do was upload a picture of my document on their website fill out my information, pay and done. I paid 50% more to have my 10 pages of Spanish documents translated into English within 24 hours. It is now 32 hours later and I have nothing. Additionally, I called 26 hours after my payment to confirm these documents would be completed as they are crucially important.. I was then promised they'd be translated within a few hours and I am still waiting. Highly disappointed and very aggravated to say the least. This has caused a major issue with my clients due to the lack of integrity and poor delivery time. Absolutely pissed is not an even accurate way to discover the chain reaction this has caused. read more
