Joel's Vitality Blast (slow motion training) have been some of the best workouts of my life. It's a…read moretotal body workout that requires 30 minutes, once or twice a week to feel an enormous difference. Using special machines, you have a certain weight that involves slow negative and positive motions for 2-3 minutes. It activates muscles you didn't know existed. Much different than just throwing a ton of weight on the bench press and knocking out a few reps, which has a purpose, but is accomplishing something very different. This gets down to the nitty gritty. I highly recommend it as a complement to your workout. I've known Joel for a long time, and he's one of the most positive and knowledgable men in the field. The atmosphere is calm and focused. It helps you get in the zone. Many people attend obviously for the Pilates expertise and other classes. With the extent of their knowledge the sky is the limit. You can workout without a fear of plateauing. Ever. Definitely take advantage of this studio and incorporate it into your routine

Joel's teaching style is patient and kind. The classes are so small it feels more like physical therapy or personal training rather than group fitness. My aerial class had 3 other students and my mat Pilates class had 2 other students. I would be a regular if I lived in the area!

I've taken both Level 1 and Level 1.5 with Sandra and will now follow her to wherever she teaches…read more I love that she always relates the exercises to one another so that we can see the fluidity towards which we are working and how to make what seems like a laying-down workout into cardio! Even when the class is full (twelve students), Sandy remembers exactly what my injuries/limitations are and makes sure that I modify so that I don't hurt myself worse, which is something that I haven't found in too many other Pilates classes I've taken elsewhere. Plus, she keeps me laughing with her Southern-Belle-esque banter. Don't let her sweet appearance fool you - you WILL work hard and WILL feel the workout for the next few days! Everyone I've met at Club Pilates has been incredibly helpful, and the location is great - super easy to get to off of 400 and ample parking, just a few doors down from Fresh Market. If you're looking for cute sticky socks or trendy apparel, there are lots of those options inside the studio as well!

Furthermore, any prepaid credit for classes that go unused due to space limitations will disappear after your next payment date. Even though I have been a loyal customer for three years and have never missed a reserved class, they have refused to resolve this issue. I'm tired of this constant battle and cancelled my membership. Despite all scheduling issues, the staff and Pilates teachers are great, no complaints.

When I called, store manager, Sherri, she gave conflicting information about cancellation, blamed my daughter for not using the membership, and spoke to me in an extremely unprofessional manner. I was told we had to wait for regional manager, Matt Ramsawack, to get back from vacation 10 days later, and then later told by Sherri that he refused to call me. I was eventually told cancellation could be done online all along -- misinformation that directly resulted in the charge. The interaction ended with me being told the membership was canceled, that she was "not going to have Matt call me" and hung up on me. think twice before signing up here.

There's a cubby to store your belongings and shoes before heading inside the studio. So far I've taken the classic with Courtney and the define class with Lori. The classic class is a more traditional barre class focusing on those movements while the define class focuses more on building strength and uses dumbbells. Both instructors are great since they make sure your form is correct and spend time demonstrating the exercises. I've taken barre before at Lifetime, but I've really been liking the formats here much more. If you are new, make sure to stick closer to the front so you can see yourself in the mirror. Also, don't forget to bring your water bottle, towel and grippy socks!
