The space is so relaxing and there is a tranquility room to relax in while you wait for your service. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I came here with my boyfriend for my birthday to get couples massage. We had a cute room that had a fake fireplace inside. The locker room had a sauna inside it, but I didn't try it since we were going somewhere to eat after our massage. I feel like the woman locker room was lacking. I've been to many other massage places before and many others had extra hair ties and other goods you may need for the massage and for after. There were a couple items for you to use like lotion, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom. As for the actual massage I'd say it was just alright. I've had better massages other places. I didn't really leave feeling refreshed. You can valet your car inside the resort and then get your valet ticket validated with the spa, so you don't have to pay for the actual parking. read more

This is for the spa only, which is not actually located in the hotel, but across the driveway next to the barbecue restaurant. The first time I went to the spa was for a massage. I went early to check out the amenities they had, but it was just a sauna and "relaxation room" that served beverages and mixed nuts. I was at the receptionist desk, paying for the massage before it started when my masseuse came up to ask the receptionist where her client was (me). The receptionist pointed her to the relaxation room and said that she was in there, when I was standing right in front of her. They were probably two other customers in the spa, so I didn't think we were that hard to keep straight. That caused my massage to start late, but it still ended on time so I didn't get my fully allotted time. The only saving grace was that the massage was good. The second time I tried to go to the spa was for a mani/pedi. They called me the day before my appointment to cancel because they didn't have anyone to do it. They offered me a discount for another service, but couldn't tell me the actual discount until I booked an appointment. I was not impressed with their service at all. Definitely does not give you luxury spa vibes. TLDR: Don't go to the spa. read more

I went here on a spa day with my daughter. I won a gift card from my job with out I never would have thought to come to Okana for a spa day. We got pedicures mine was done by Aubrey and she did an excellent job on my feet and then she gave me my manicure and also did a great job. I highly recommend this location for a day of relaxation. read more

Okana has a spa and it's fabulous! Took some time to go enjoy a facial and I'm glad I did. Christmas was the esthetician and she did an amazing job. While I waited for her I sat (lounged) I. An amazing suite with refreshments. It's something about the smell and the music of a spa that just puts your mind at ease! Came here on a Saturday reservation made for 9 am. It was just a few people in there and they like you to show up 30 minutes prior. They have you fill out a content form. First I booked the pedicure and they got rid of all the dead skin, put a foot mask on and shaped then so good my feet were so soft!! I called about setting an appointment multiple times for a Groupon I purchased and never received a call back from The Spa at Okana. This is the worst customer service I ever received on just setting an appointment. I didn't even walk through the door and I was treated without any care. I called at 12:49pm on 10/15/25 they said they're systems went down and they'll call me back. She took my name and number, and she never called that day or the next morning. I called again at 12:19pm on 10/16/25 and the lady that schedules was out on lunch and another lady left a note with my name and number again and she promised to have her call in 5-10 minutes. Still hasn't called back and it's 12:29pm on 10/17/25. At 6:37pm on 10/16/25 I sent a contact us form to ask what is going on and still received no response. I guess your spa doesn't want customers and doesn't care about the local community. If men are not allowed or welcomed at this spa for manicures and pedicures just post that on your website it's a "Women Only Service" instead of just ignoring me and not returning my calls and messages so I can take my money elsewhere. read more

I went to the Okana Spa and was delightfully surprised at how well prepared they were to provide for all needs. I was able to shower and use their amazing spa spray for aromatherapy while showering. They provided hair brushes, tooth brushes, mouthwash, deodorant- seriously everything I needed! The tranquility room was SO relaxing and allowed me to chat with my crew and other spa visitors. They also had privacy curtains so I didn't have to talk to anyone if I didn't want to. My masseur- Nelson - was absolutely incredible! Firm but not too firm and massaged my leg muscles that I didn't even know were tense! I left feeling refreshed and relaxed! Amazing spa experience!! read more

This review is for the Okana Spa. First, the good things - staff was very nice and second the equipment and materials used to build this spa have all been well selected with the best. The massage tables are wide and the headrests are the best I've ever experienced. (It's the small stuff like this that adds up). The dressing rooms were comfortable, the tranquility room was well designed. They do lack artwork and special decor like their competition at other hotel spas. It is nice but sterile looking Maybe that is coming later? Now for the areas that they should improve. This is a simple suggestion - add some fragrances so it smells like a spa when you enter and the entire time you are in all the areas. All I smelled was the hickory smoke of the BBQ restaurant next door and the odor was yummy smelling for about 5 minutes. The reservation was handled by telephone in early May for my daughter's birthday on 5-27-25. We were told to arrive 30 minutes before our 10:00 a.m. apt time but guess what? The spa wasn't open so we sat outside for 15 minutes outside before they opened the door. With that said we started with a negative impression. The staff was very nice and took us to the dressing rooms to undress and put on the robe. The directions on how to use the lockers were on the inside of the locker door but the girl should have told us that part - we finally figured it out but it would have been nice if she'd just told us from the beginning - another simple fix. We went to their special tranquility room which is nice and comfortable and has water available and healthy snacks. We both got massages with therapists both being very nice and the massages were okay - nothing spectacular. Then, we returned to the tranquility room when I first found out that they did not schedule my facial at the same time as my daughters which should have been at 11:00 like hers. This spa is small with limited staff are very limited so trying to get more appointments at the same time is not going to work for a group of guests. That is okay if all are staying at the hotel but we weren't. My facial was not scheduled until 1:00 meaning I'd be waiting 2 hours. Not sure how that ball got dropped but the good news is that I suggested I get a pedicure while my daughter was getting her facial. It worked out fine since the nail tech was free. The manager was extremely apologetic and refunded the facial that I didn't get along with 10% for my inconvenience. That was a nice gesture. The pedicure was a very basic one but again, that facility is nice. ONE LAST THING that I don't agree with is the fact that they automatically charge you 25% for gratuity along with a service fee. I would not have given them 25% and did not tip anything extra. THIS IS disclosed to you if you read the "fine print" so I knew about it but wondered how many will miss that until they charge their credit card and how many more will add more gratuity. In comparing this spa to other nice hotels it is lacking but with a few very small corrections could be much better. For now, the best continues to be Choctaw Resort in Durant or even the spa at Downstream Resort. Those two are amazing, well equipped, decorated nicely, excellent staff and spectacular services. I'm hoping my simple suggestions are understood as constructive ones and hope to visit again to give them a second chance. read more
