I'm actually pretty good at it! Make a reservation on line, come on in at your time, they will give you a tutorial, and then some practice time. It is all in the wrist... and then start your games. However, as this was a birthday event, and I wanted things to go smoothly and easily, I didn't bother. Also, the reservation that I made was for a single lane with the 2 axe throwing targets. When we arrived, there wasn't anyone else there. I'm not sure if it was just because there was no one there, or if they were just being nice in general, but they allowed us to use 2 lanes with 4 axe throwing targets and that made it even more fun! They brought out popcorn for everyone and had a fridge-bar with some canned drinks and snacks. I really didn't take any pictures, but I definitely intend to come back. So, next time; I promise. We attended an event in the City of Lawrenceville. Found out that Eight Arms is a mobile ax…read morethrowing business. They go where you want them to go, there is no physical location. The ax throwing is on a very stable trailer with a couple of stairs. It's enclosed by metal "mesh" so the axes don't accidently go flying out of the area. We were shown how to correctly hold the ax, stand and how to throw. The nice gentleman that was teaching us showed us how to safely throw and then wait for the second person to throw so that no one was ever in danger. You must scan a QR code and sign a waiver before you throw. This was a free event we attended so I will call to see how much it would be for this business to come to other events. It was fun and exciting to learn something new. And a little competitive, as you are throwing with another person and trying to beat their score!

We used the "analog" lanes on this outing. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the young lady who helped us get set up and provided training, but she was very friendly and funny. The check-in process was quick and simple with no issues--even with using a Groupon. The facility and all the equipment functioned as designed, and we noticed no safety or cleanliness issues.
