I am very novice at…read morecomputers but had been referred by a friend and thought I could trust them with advice and good used computers for my new business. NOT TRUE. Once I purchased the computers I hired an IT guy to configure them with the printer in the office etc. The IT guy said do you realize you paid more than brand new monitors cost and that the computers are at the end of their lifecycle. They were years older than I was told. I was also told they were getting all the computers ready and serviced. When my IT guy opened the covers, he found they had been well used by a large organization and were very old and could not be upgraded to the newest operating system Windows 11. Furthermore, each computer was full of hair, fuzz and dirt and some of the fans didn't work. I complained and Open Box Macleod allowed me to trade the monitors for a credit. One thing I used the credit for was to buy an expensive coffee grinder. The grinder did not work so I took it back to Open Box Macleod. They said they could only send it in for repair. Months went by and still no coffee grinder. I went to the store many times in person and they shrugged me off and would not refund me and refused to help. I spent about $4000 and if I had the time, I would stand in front of their horrible, dishonest, disreputable Open Box Macleod location and tell them all my story. Worst Place to buy anything. They cannot be trusted. I am literally ashamed I fell for this discount store.... it is far worse than buying from a new supplier.

Purchased a new cell and took it to Shaw Mobile in Southcentre Mall Calgary for help transferring…read moresim card and setting up the phone. The young lady at Shaw did the card but was having trouble moving contacts, photos, etc. to the new device. Thank goodness she recommended going around the corner to Mobile Klinik! A lovely fellow named Edwin promptly took the phones and managed to set-up the new phone in a matter of minutes. I thanked him and asked how much was the charge, and to my surprise he said No charge but please do a review!! What can you say about great customer service like that?? Just added Mobile to my contacts list and will recommend his services to everyone. A sincere Thank you to Edwin and Mobile Klinik.

Only stick with the major carrier's kiosks to do business. Terrible experience. Staff only cared about the sale. Terrible customer communication skills.

The people here when we walked in were all young- no one over 30 and they could have cared less about our presence or our satisfaction. No one greeted us they were all huddled in a corner talking it took me the customer to go up to them al ask for help. Next I said okay my contract is up what are my next steps because I don't want a new phone since mine is fine. They said oh well then you need to call telus and tell them that for them to lower the price of the bill for you or else you will keep getting charged the same amount as though you were paying for your phone still... ummmmm excuse me??? Telus should be contacting me !!! This makes me want to switch telephone companies.
