Hip & Hitched - getting lit at a very Hip fall wedding!

    Hip & Hitched

We absolutely loved working with Hip and Hitched for our wedding! From the start, Tim was…read moreprofessional, responsive, and genuinely excited to help us create the perfect vibe. We added the live instruments (drums, sax, and bass), and it was one of the best decisions we made -- the energy was incredible! The dance floor was packed all night, and so many of our guests told us it was the most fun they've had at a wedding. Tim and the musicians knew exactly how to keep the party going. If you're looking for a DJ who brings both talent and personality, Hip and Hitched is it!

Unlike other DJ who are way too…read moregreedy with inflation and provides services you don't need, TD is offering the most reasonable prices and add-ons to fit your needs and budget. We added the uplighting services and opt'ed out for additional musicians (more on that below). 2. TD is incredibly professional and experienced. We're picky music producers and needed someone who the same level of touch and technicality. With TD, you don't have to worry! He has the years, experience, and groove for it all! 3. Reliable, communicative, and supportive. He can easily mesh well with your videographers, coordinators, and team to make sure your entire event goes well. We're very satisfied with the outcomes. He even took awesome photos of us and created a highlight on IG for us to watch after our wedding. We loved seeing our special day from a different perspective. CON: 1. We didn't get the additional musicians TD recommended and regret it. I think others should consider it! Having more than 1 entertainer on the dance floor really heightens the energy. Whether it's an Emcee, Drummer, Saxophonist, etc... you need that extra person as a hype man to keep the night going! +1 if they can dance and help others follow along #flashmob #tiktokdance. 2. Have a back-up plan for emergencies. If someone falls and hurts their heads in the middle of an energetic time, you'd want to know what to do to be respectful of that person while ensuring the rest of the party is still going. I recommend you to talk to your DJ, emcee, coordinators, and event team to align on an emergency plan in case it happens! One of our elders fell and had a bloody experience. Recovering from that was quite an experience, but TD and our emcee friend made it happen!

JC Penny Portrait Studio - 7:01 PM...rushed pictures so she could get to her Friday night soiree. Lol

In addition, I chose this location due to the low rating of the other JC Penny photo studio in the area. I scheduled the appointment online for 6:15pm. The online scheduler has a notes section where I entered the number of people and the number of poses that I wanted-three. Someone called to confirm the time the day before the session and I asked would they be able to accommodate a group of eight. When my family arrives at 6:10, the photographer (Ashley) immediately says that we should have come early, at 6, and that we should reschedule and come back another day so that we could have more time. I reconfirmed that our appointment was at 6:15. Ashley said that was right, bit that most people come 15 minutes early so that they can have more time. No ma'am, I did not drive 50 minutes to be on time and have you suggest that we reschedule. The session was rushed and the photographer had a really unique expression of emotion- laughing- when one of the toddlers was crying. After the session, I tried to make small talk and asked a few general questions, but it was clear that she was ready to go a d was rushing to get us to view the pictures and choose what we wanted. To photograph 8 people and 3 poses took all of 20 mins. By 6:55, I paid for my pictures and was back in my car. Pros: a manager that seemed to be concerned about the lack of service, discount rates online, lots of photo frames on sale in the studio, you pick your pictures and any enhancements in store before you leave. Cons: Poor customer service by photographer, not really kid friendly. For adults, go for the discounted prices. If you have children taking photos or can only come in the evening, go somewhere else.

Not mindful of your time. My photo session was scheduled for 12:15 pm. We were not seen until 1:30…read morepm. I understand it was the holiday season, but what's the point of setting an appointment and being 1 hour and 15 minutes late. They spent around 40 minutes or longer per family, then our session was rushed. I would never visit this studio location again.
