Meaning that there was small groups of people that had there friends, and they never went out to go find new people. Idlewild realized this! So they really started changing there act for new comers although still not the best for new believers I think that this church is great for all ages. (except youth group). Now most of the people at Idlewild are very friendly however the staff on the youth group is mean and unfair. There are not many friendly people in the youth group especially on staff. Although this does make me sad I feel that most teenagers are like this. But when the staff is joining them treating us like the bully's treat us at church, makes God sad. However I still love my church even with there flaws they still have an amazing campus and still by far the best church I have ever been to. The cons: this is personal preference for me, but I don't like the assembly line approach to taking Communion. To me it doesn't give me the chance to get my heart right in order to give it the reverence it deserves. Also, I am not a fan of saying the Apostles Creed because it doesn't come from the Bible. Lastly, I wished there was a Sunday school program. This week's sermon was not done by the main pastor, so I will go again later to get a better assessment of that.

This sounds like hyperbole, I know, but we just love it here. Our children attend the homeschool co-op, as well. It can be hard to get connected right away, especially if you only come for Sunday services, but the church has just begun offering home groups across the Tampa Bay area and I think that will help newcomers to get plugged in. When we joined, we found that attending Wednesday night classes and the social activities (park picnic, beach day, etc) were a much better way of getting to know people than Sunday services alone. I think these small groups will make it even easier.
