When you're in Cleethorpes, there's plenty of pubs to stumble into, it seems. Good job I had an ex-local to show me into the more solid spots! This was one of the places we popped in to, and it's in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the beach.
I liked the bit of outdoor seating, right next to the pavement. Much nicer than the 'al fresco' in Leeds, where you're automatically sat right by tons of traffic! Mind you, it's next to a main road, but not nearly as busy with cars as it seems to be in Leeds.
The atmosphere inside was warm and friendly, and whilst you shouldn't expect a range of specialist craft beers, you should expect to save a pretty penny on your boozing. There were tons of offers on booze - including bottles of Sol for £1.50 - which we readily took advantage of.
A nice spot to sup a pint, worth checking in. read more
