The process involved three visits and could not have been more stress-free and comfortable. Although not done for cosmetic reasons, it mattered greatly to me that my appearance would not be changed and that the end result would preserve my original, natural smile. I could not be more pleased by the end result. I was very impressed by how quickly I was able to get an appointment (within a week) for a new patient consult which involves getting X-rays and seeing the dentist first before scheduling your cleaning appointment or next appointment (that part sucks because ideally I would want everything done on the same appointment). This location however was up to part! I didn't have to wait a long time before I was seen when I arrived, everything seem clean, sterile and it was a decent size office. Kim in the front is super personable, efficient and friendly. She really helped me with a lot of questions and made my check in/check out convenient. Even after my appointment I reached out to get a copy of my X-rays and it was emailed within a reasonable amount of time. The Assistant was also super great, the x-rays were quick, painless, and she went over my insurance benefits and treatment price in detail so I knew what to expect. Holly, I believe was the hygienist she was amazing and I didn't even get a cleaning, yet she came in to check on what type of cleaning I would need and answered any questions about my oral hygiene. Dr. Lan Dinh on the other side was the downfall of the appointment for me. I didn't think he had good bedside manner. Dr. Dinh checked my xrays, teeth and informed me of a cavity which was understandable. I asked him a question wondering if after completing my fill in, if I could bring my essix (clear) retainer, so he can fit it and make sure when he fills in the cavity my retainer still fits, also I wanted to make sure the fill-in wasn't too high (because it has happened before, not here, and it's so painful when your bite is off) he quickly said "NO" he can't guarantee that my retainer will fit and that he can't guarantee my bite won't be off, and if that happens I would have to go see an orthodontist for a new retainer and to fix my bite... what?? I was taken back at the fact that he didn't bother to ask what I meant before quickly deciding his answer was no. I work at an orthodontics office, I have been around dental for more than five years, I'm definitely not a dentist but I know what a patient can and should ask/wonder. As a Dentist is in his job to educate the patient and listen to what the patient is asking and I certainly didn't feel like he cared nor understood what I was asking or wasn't knowledgeable enough in the field because any other dentist would've said "Yes we will use articulating paper to check the bite to make sure the fill in isn't too high and get it as close as possible to what the original shape of the tooth was" anyways I said "okay" and that's when I decided to take my business elsewhere. I was very disappointed because everything and everyone else was so great and friendly. I was told there is another dentist in this location who seems to be great as stayed in some other reviews but he is not in the office on the day's that I am able to go so of course I will be going to a new dentist who can fix the cavity and yet not cause me other dental problems! I hope others experience is better than what mine was with Dr. Dinh!
