All beautifully cooked with extra gravy when requested. Puddings were also good we tried the chocolate brownie and Bakewell tart. Lovely spot just by the water. Plenty of seating whether you want a meal or just a drink.

It was for Sunday Lunch with my partner and our 3 kids. The lunch was perfectly cooked in all aspects, and it was the usual £8-9 pricing of the area. Polite staff and no problems. The second time I went there to eat with my family, there were many people watching a Jazz band on the riverside. When I went in to order food, I was told by the management that people had been rude to the staff and he had stopped serving food for this reason, which seemed a little odd and very dissapointing, not to mention a wasted journey. The third and most recent time I went there for the steak with my partner. It was meant to be a 16oz fillet steak, it came out and looked like a 8oz, no where near the correct weight. The price was £16.95 each I think, which would've ben fine had it been right. It was cooked to the right texture (medium rare) but the flavour was foul, it was as if it had been cooked next to kidney and the flavour had sapped in. Both me and my partner agreed upon this and made a complaint. No one came to tend to us (that REALLY gets to me), anyway I had to chase up until a head waitress lady finally decided to come over. Then to our disbelief we were met with rudeness and denial. In the end the lady knocked off 10% of just my meal which was about £1.69 of a £34 main meal between the two of us, which we both agreed was foul. Seriously in view of my last 2 visits, to eat, avoid this place like the plague. At least until they get there management and customer service under control, or at best find it in them to learn some manners and polite catering skills. Real shame because our first meal was good all round.
