Sitting in the heart of the village where we have the beautiful backwaters is our hub of traditional old fashioned hospitality, a pub and restaurant with outside Large Beer Garden and Garden Room. Our team of chefs go all out to make delicious homemade freshly prepared food including the classic pub grub and finer dining. Selected dishes come in smallers portion sizes too plus a daily Specials Menu. A full bar with real ales and beverages as well as non alcoholic and soft drinks. Fancy a special coffee we've got you covered. Well behaved pets are welcomed in the bars and outside areas, our favourite non paying customers get a treat from the bar. History

Established in 2015.

Tony and Angela took over the Ship in September 2015. How on earth could an X Estate Agent and a hairdresser possibly know anything about running a pub let alone a restaurant too. Over the years we've had amazing staff and customers who have supported us and given us constructive feedback and help. We strive to keep our pub on top of it's game. Our amazing Head Chef and his team have taken our restaurant to another level of cuisine. We are proud to say we have been fully 100% dedicated to making this business thrive over the years as a team. We are the hub of our community and we take pride in that many of our regular customers travel from outside our village too. We've created a home from home from yours to ours. A great welcoming cosy and friendly atmosphere goes down well with a drink or too. We look forward to continuing and thank all customers for your continued support. Meet the Business Owner: Tony B.

Tony is passionate about pubs. Even before this opportunity arose to take over The Ship. Tony loves Real Ale and is a strong supporter of the real ale campaign. Our bars are always fully stocked and we have a wide selection if beers, ciders and beverages. Tony is also aware that our food side of the business is tip top too. He allows our chefs to create and put dishes together so our menus have something to suit everyone. Variety is the spice of life. Tony believes stick to what you know and embrace the difficulties so that we can improve and enhance our business. Our fantastic staff give us very valued input into our business. We may not agree all the time but, that's what makes it special. We are family and work hard together to make this pub what it is today. Long may it continue.
