The food is still very good but the menu is MUCH more limited now. We hit Glenwood a half dozen times a year and are happy that this place is still open. Mighty good club sandwich and fries!

Is so nice makes you feel right at home and is very helpful...and kinda cute too!! There are 8 rooms. After tax it was about 83 dollars. The rooms are very clean and smell clean. The beds are actually very comfortable. They have flat screen tv's and dish along with wifi. Even though there's isn't much In glenwood I would stay here again if I was ever In the area . Everyone I've talked to so far in glenwood have been so nice and inviting. Which is nice for being a one horse town and an outsider coming in. The prices in the hotel's. Convenient store are actually very comparable to other populated areas. Tommorow I will try the the hotel's diner and update the review then. Oh yeah tomorrow is my birthday and the lady said you get a free ice cream cone on your birthday!!!! That's like icing on the cake!! Okay I've tried the food now. The food is good, we've eaten here twice now. With 2 different cooks. The burgers are the main choice on the menu. Nothing spectacular but the food is good. Blaus the cook is an awesome guy. He is so friendly and was super attentive and helpful dude is great. There was another younger lady working the back also, I didn't get her name but she was also extremely nice and was super inviting and helpful. If you eat here you need to check their jalapeño ranch sauce........um....sooooo goood.

This hotel is deeply loved by someone. It's not a huge space but it is truly special and someone…read morehas put A LOT of time and thought into this tucked away rustic hotel in the lovely little town of Trout Lake, Washington. The staff is genuinely welcoming and accommodating; the decor is a finely manicured cabin woodsy with very well thought out nuance: a play area for kids and family on the other side of a little wood bridge crossing a beautifully babbling brook; ACTUAL keys for doors instead of keycards; wheeled dining chairs so as not to scratch the wood floors; a little wood stove for heating in each room; wagon wheels rested against the fence lines and flowered window boxes adorning each front room window. The space is well planned and very conscious choices were made to effectively maximize the available space. There's not all that much to do in this sweet little mountain community as far as city folk are concerned - but to me - that's the appeal. If you want to breathe deep; slow down; settle in; read a book; play some cards; take a walk; chat with a friendly stranger, throw a line in the water or take a country drive - here is where it's at. Here is where you go and here is where you stay. Love this - all of it

Kelly's Trout Creek Inn Bed and Breakfast - Creekside Room upstairs

We rolled into downtown Trout Lake, WA around sundown on our way back from Mt. Adams and realized…read morewe'd better find a place to sleep. We saw Kelly's sign and went in and asked if they had rooms available. It's not the place I'd choose as a romantic getaway, but it is pleasant and pretty and very well kept. And they have dogs, which immediately endeared me to the place. Kelly Enochs and wife Marilyn run a nice little B&B here. We didn't see much of Marilyn (although her pressed-flower art decorates the place) but Kelly was very chatty, perhaps almost too much so. I'm sure one craves company when you run a B&B out in the woods and it's off-season! Location is great: right on a creek, right off the main road, on a side road that leads out into the 'country' (nice for walking or morning runs). There is a nice sitting room downstairs with a very good library of outdoors-related books. The antique couch is pretty but not the most comfortable. Kelly has a large collection of music and is a big music fan ... and will tell you all about it if you're interested. Our room (Creekside - a double upstairs; see photos) was large and comfortable. We had to go around the corner outside to use the bathroom (sink, toilet, clawfoot tub), but there were no other guests, so that worked out fine. Kelly is also a coffee addict, so there WILL be a fresh pot waiting for you in the morning. Breakfast was good with plenty of food ... all the basics you would expect - something eggy, something bready, something sausagey, fruit, coffee & tea. All in all, a nice time, and I would go back if I were in the area.

A beautiful house on a beautiful creek, with charming hosts! We had the Creekside Suite, it was really good, with a private deck overlooking the creek! We would love to go back! P.S. Cellular data and WiFi are quite spotty in Trout Lake, so download what you need before you arrive.

With four very flat pillows and a sink that kept backing up. It's also very windy out here so the car gets covered with dust. On the flip side, the free breakfast is always welcomed and they did offer a huge variety for the oatmeal bar and had gluten free bagels in the yogurt refrigerator (you have to hunt for it). Pet fee was $50 which is fair. And it may be the best hotel lodging available in the area, which really doesn't say much. I just felt we shouldn't have to use so many points for this level of accommodations. Felt more like a 15k value.

Staff very nice, beds were fine, room was clean, of course the heat /ac unit was very loud. The pantry had a good selection. Breakfast was hot but everything off brand and it tasted that way. It was fine for one night. I've had to stay at worse places. If this were a funeral I'd say "at least they paid their taxes"
