Alina was who I s/w most and she is such a good vibe and following her Instagram is good for my mental health! Anyways I met them, I trust them, I ordered from them! I've ordered 3 or 4 times now. Their germination guide is so helpful, I love it! I highly recommend following their advice. My plants grown from seeds purchased from them have exceeded expectations. Their online ordering process is super easy, you have options of online check, or mailing a money order, today was the first time I noticed they accept credit cards as well which was wonderful. Their selection is insane, tons of different options with some great values, very affordable. I really enjoy their website's ability to filter by basically anything. I could spend hours on their website. Their packaging is always perfect! Sometimes there are little bonus stickers or pamphlets with news or advice. I appreciate and read all of it! Greetings, this is my 3rd year getting seeds from Seed Cellar and going into their establishment was like a Kid in a candy store! So many varieties too chose from and the Staff was very knowledgeable for my growing needs. More importantly is that I've hade 100% germination and the packets usually come with a few extra in case some don't sprout. Pros: Can get ahold of them via phone easily which is rare among seedbanks. Cons: Placed an order over $500 which qualifies for 'free' or included shipping but was charged the delivery fee anyway. If this was the only mistake no big deal but was also charged sales tax and live in a state that Seed Cellar doesn't have sales tax nexus (or have to charge it). The representative was reluctant to send the (refund for shipping) asking something to the effect "Do you really want me to send 10 dollars to you via mail." I certainly would want my refund if it were only a dollar and should not be made to feel like I am causing their office an issue to make the request. After all the issue was created by their error. Also had a germination issue that wasn't handled or addressed but simply brushed aside after being told the breeder would be contacted. The breeder may have not answered, if Seed Cellar did attempt to make contact, albeit they dropped the ball again and ceased to reach out to me! It has been nearly two weeks since my original phone call. The News Year sale needs much more specific & better wording as it is vague - had to call twice now and email once to ask several questions to clarify. I drove from Grand Rapids to Jackson which is a 90 minute drive, only to find out they are only doing curbside service. They told me I could place an online order and they would bring it out to me. Well how am I supposed to pay by cashiers check or cash app when all I have is the normal payment methods like cash, debit and credit cards. So I would just find another vendor and save your time and money. read more
