Golden Childhood Days Family care - Time to garden!

    Golden Childhood Days Family care

Golden Childhood is a loving environment filled with rich experiences. The daily curriculum is…read morebased on academic and scientific early childhood development principles. Kids get incredible personal attention and teaching according to their individual needs and strengths. They do drawing, painting, gardening, cooking, music, crafts, feeding animals, cleaning, and more. It is incredible for the children. Classical music is played during working sessions to enhance little growing minds. Sofia recently earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Education and is a leading expert in early childhood learning and teaching. She is extremely talented and the kids LOVE her (my daughter calls her Momma Sofia). Another great thing about Golden Childhood Days is that they check in via text or email multiple times per day with a short video of what our daughter is working on. I can't begin to explain how great it is to see these little video clips come in while I'm working and I get to see what my daughter is up to. It was especially reassuring when she first started going there. They will usually send a little video when she learns something new or to show what food she's eating. And the food! It is worth it to send your child to Golden Childhood for the food alone. All organic, locally sourced, ultra-healthy and hearty meals cooked by hand five times a day! I honestly could not believe it. My daughter loves the food and always says it's "yummy!" Uh, what else... The facility is secure; a big metal gate and fence surround the property and no unannounced guests or strangers are ever allowed on the grounds. The neighborhood is good. The staff are trained in emergency first aid, but they know how to avoid accidents and injuries. They will work with you on a schedule that fits your needs. The cost is in the higher range but absolutely worth it. I can't say enough good things about this school. If you are lucky enough to be able to send your child, you absolutely should! Your child will thrive here.

An amazing daycare, home away from home! I cannot be happier…read morewith our services here. Our previous daycare center got closed, so we needed to find a new provider in a short period of time. It was our first experience with home daycare so we didn't know what to expect. But Sofia (care provider) exceeded all our expectations. Convenient schedule, constant communication over the phone (she sends us videos daily), homemade meals with organic milk and products every two hours, different activities for the kids every day. Sofia speaks Russian to my baby (we have bilingual household) and created "dacha" (summer house) experience for my daughter where she is able to feed bunny and chickens, play outside, help with gardening, etc. Sofia has a PhD in early childhood development and always gives useful advices about our kid's milestones, behavior patterns, as well as helps with potty training. She feels a lot more like extension of the family, and I highly recommend "Golden Childhood Days" daycare.

I sat through a…read morehalf day with my toddler and they seemed to not have enough staff support in the classroom. A teacher could not leave at any point without being out of ratio, which is very concerning given how young the kids are. (Example: a toddler who was already potty trained asked to go potty and was told they put a pull up on her so they didn't need to take her and put them out of ratio) The teacher for the 2 year olds seemed very dry and gave very little verbal praise during activities. Nothing about the instruction or preschool aspect of it seemed to be very stimulating. (no singing or excitement) In addition, the toys outside were mostly either very dirty or just broken, even right at the beginning of the day. Teachers didn't play games or interact with children unless it was for help or cry. Granted what they charge a week, this place is 100% not worth it.

I first hand experience the way she treats her employees, with frustration. For being a Christian community she is not one. She has one worker with 20+ kids and the other with maybe 5+ how fair is that for the kids not getting the attention they need or being able to FOCUS on one? My child has asked me multiple times to not take them because how mean she is not the children but those who work there. Needs to be serious action to be taken.

First baby who was soooo attached to me and couldn't even let family watch him. I had my son in another daycare and he would scream for 8 hours. He would cry hysterically and had a very hard time adapting. Not only in daycare but this was with anyone I left him with. Soon enough they told us my son couldn't attend there anymore. Thats when we found monicas daycare! Monica and Carlos alleviated all my worries and fears and was willing to work with my son and give him the extra attention to help him adapt. My son adapted in 1 WEEK!!! I never expected that. Now my son jumps out of my arms into theirs and is so excited to go to daycare. Its amazing how much they helped my son grow. He plays independently, sleeps better, eats better and its all because of this daycare. They put all your worries at ease, they treat my son like family and they are seriously the best. Their home is so always so clean, the front room is dedicated to a learning area with toys and supplies for the kids and looks like a preschool, and the backyard has all the fun things for the kids. I'm so grateful to have found this daycare. All their staff treats my son like their own and you can honestly see how much they love all the kids and what they do. Such an awesome family and daycare. I honestly don't think my son would have adapted if it wasn't for them. If your looking for a daycare, this daycare is seriously the best!

Yes, with all the guilt I felt, I felt strongly and needed to start providing for myself and my little one. So I was referred to this place when my 3 year old was having a hard time adjusting being away from both my partner and I. Angel and Gio are rockstars! They have been a blessing to myself and my little one who continues to grow more knowledgeable. Every time I drop him off, he's already rushing to go inside or reaching for Gio to carry him. It's the sweetest thing to see him attached to another individual outside of myself or my partner. They are as more involved with my child's upbringing than myself. And that's okay. I know in the long haul for development purposes that this was the right choice. They were reasonable and extremely flexible with us. I would recommend this place 1000% over and that's because they send me memos, notes, lovely pictures of how my child is doing. Always updating me and ensuring that I'm involved with things that could help with his development. They go above and beyond to ensure your child is always getting the best out of their day, with play time, healthy home cooked meals and ensuring they at least get 30-1hr worths nap and I just don't know how they do it all, but they do because they are compassionate human beings who love our little one and you could totally tell by the way they handle their daycare. Lots of love towards these two!
