The first stop on a trip is the Parker-French Antique Center and this place is absolutely fantastic. From the outside this place looks pretty smell but the moment you walk in you realize that there's actually a couple of big rooms full of all sorts of antiques, retro toys, war memorabilia, and everything else under the sun. The staff here is super friendly and both my parents and my wife found things that they just needed to add to whatever collection they are working on at the moment, I don't know, my wife is buying a creepy little statue with nuns on it. Overall, this place is definitely going to be on my "must hit up" list whenever I'm visiting my family in New Hampshire. I mean, how can I not hit up a place that has stuff from The Flintstones, WWF, and the Toronto Blue Jays? Although I left empty handed (myself at least).

**November 2025: Wednesday Late Morning Visit**…read more I found this charity shop on Facebook and saw that they were having a "fill a bag of women's clothes" for $10 during the week of Thanksgiving (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday), so I decided to check it out. I arrived around 11am on Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. The volunteers were all very friendly and polite and I went ahead and filled the bag though the prices of everything that I saw were all very reasonably priced individually. I think sweaters were around $4 as were dress shirts. There were two vintage dresses that I was considering but ultimately didn't come home with me. There's a couple of mirrors throughout the store and one small dressing room. Jewely were all individually priced and at least on my visit there were many coats, scarves, boots, and other outerwear type of items. Honestly, if I lived closer I would probably come here regularly because the donations are all in really good condition and prices are incredibly fair (even without the fill the bag promotion). I would totally keep this all to myself, but they were 100% volunteer run and proceeds all go towards outreach services.

It's a no-frills antique store that is typical of many New England stores. The location is a little out of the way but the staff is very nice and there are a variety of different items for sale. I was particularly impressed with the very back room. That's where the larger pieces of furniture are stored. I saw a wide variety of trunks, dressers, and chairs. They had all different styles and excellent prices. I bought an adorable little white vase, but I plan on returning once I have a house of my own to furnish.
