I visited the salvation army airline highway on Wednesday which is their half off day, I saw a pair sneakers priced $20.00, I asked the salesman for the sneakers he gave them to me, I was checking out, one of the salesman immediately picked them up and said "oh no, I'm not selling these for $20.00," he then became very loud, I'm calling the manager,he called her on speaker, she said the sneakers would sell for $250.00 but I could have them today for $200.00, everyone all over the store could hear the conversation, I said a pair of used sneakers with lots of wear $200 when they're
clearly marked $20.00, another salesman joined in saying we're not going to sell you the sneakers hand them over, unless you're paying $200.00, I again said the sneakers are marked $20, the
Manager, another salesman & two other workers immediately said you're not buying these sneakers, I was so confused & upset by the entire
Staff, I called the main office to complain, I left my number, I received a call from the overall manager
to inform me they were not selling me the sneakers unless I paid the $200.00, I believe this is called price gouging read more
