After searching online and asking a few locals I stumbled across this hair salon. I went on to their website and was able to make an appointment straight from it, which worked great since you can see their schedule and find out what works for yours. They sent me emails and texts reminding me of my appointment the day before which I thought was awesome. I went to the salon and was greeted very nicely. The place is espectacular. Not just clean, but the decor is as if it came out of a magazine. Loved it! I was taken cared by Danielle. She was an absolute pleasure. I was offered drinks, among them water, wine, mimosas! Isn't that great? Danielle did a beautiful job with my hair. She was very friendly and just easy to talk to. I came out of there very happy!! Prices are decent, coming from the East Coast I thought it was pretty much the same I used to pay out there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a real professional hair salon.

I scheduled an appointment with Denise as she's listed as a Master Stylist. She also has curly hair…read morelike mine, so I figured she would be able to do a good job. When I got there she seemed okay, just a bit distracted. She began with washing my hair, where she gave the Lightest "scalp massage" and I'm not certain that she put any conditioner in. Then when I got into her chair she put it all the way to the ground, so that I could only see from my eyes up in the mirror while she cut my hair. To the point that she was literally on her Knees to do her job. She barely asked what I wanted, then didn't even follow that. I asked for layers to round the shape of my hair out, for it to sit about shoulder length, and my bangs to be cut at cheekbone length. Instead hair was past my shoulders in the front and long and Mullety in the back as if she didn't cut that at all. My "bangs* were down to my mouth and there were Zero discernable layers to be found anywhere. When she asked if I wanted her to do anything else I asked for it to be cut shorter, she trimmed the front 2 pieces a tiny bit and that's it so I decided not to ask for anything else, as she already wasn't doing what I asked. Not once during the total of Thirty minutes that she spent on my hair did she check if the length was ok, what I was thinking about it or anything. She spent most of the time making my hair frizzy AF then fluffing it around than she did taking time to cut my hair. She also did not offer me a mirror at Any point to see the back. I feel like she was distracted the entire time, did not actually want to cut my hair for some reason, and left me looking ridiculous. I walked out of the store with a fluffy, frizzy, mullet and paid almost $100 for it. I absolutely will Not be back and Highly discourage Anyone from going to see Denise. I ended up going to my friend's house afterwards, waking her up, and together we did a Significantly better job than Denise.

After a recently gotten 'less than better' cut at a local salon, I was desperate and…read morethought..."well, there are teachers there and the least they could do was fix my cut, right?" SO I called the school in town, and They got me in the Saturday afternoon I called within 15 minutes! As a student greeted me, washed and examined my hair, she questioned the working supervisor on the floor how to best fix it. I proceeded to get a cut that not only fixed my present cut but a lesson in how to use 3 different products and a better look than I expected to get when I went to the other salon! They showed me why my hair wasn't 'working' with my present mess (still 3 weeks after the last cut gotten elsewhere) and calmed my fear that i was just imagining the uneveness and bad working sense of it all. I have found my new regular salon for haircuts, and I'll save some money too! The only thing they forgot was their guarantee of a 5 minute scalp soothing massage with every haircut that I just read about. Next time! I know I could definitely have used that on Saturday;)
