While it seemed small, they carry quite the selection of produce, dairy products, beer and wine! Prices are fair (on the slightly higher side), staff very helpful and friendly, and the sections of the store were beautifully done. Stopped by for some locally made goods and walked out pleased.

The selection is good, a little bit of everything. Beautiful plants and fresh produce. Staff are super friendly.

Exploring Vermont and came across the open air Hardwick Farmer's Market, open 3-6 on Fridays…read more Although I've been to much bigger farmer's market, it had a delightful, diverse assortment of friendly local vendors (food and crafts) and enjoyable live music! I did partake in a delicious chocolate chip cookie from Moutainview Bakehouse and a pretzel with flavorful mustard, as well as purchased a soft pretzel with mustard from the Austrian bakery Haus on the Hill that also had a lot of wonderful sweet European style treats. Took home two jars of The Poet's Garden's yummy homemade jam: Black Currant Rhubarb Lemon and Aronia Berry. There were a number of things I hadn't ever seen before, like a huge wild Puffball Mushroom, and Sea Berry plants. Found particularly nice the handmade ceramic tiles, felt artwork and wood pieces from Heartbeat Lifesharing group. There was covered seating to enjoy your food and an adjacent community garden. If you're in the area on a Friday afternoon, Hardwick Farmer's Market is a great place to stop by,

Vendors include Greensboro's New Leaf Designs/ Down to Earth Worm Farms, Bill Hill Organic Meats, Craftsbury's Echo Hill Farms (maple syrup producers and purveyors), and Connie's Kitchen of Hardwick (offering sweet, inexpensive, homemade baked goods). There's a lady selling rice milk, and homemade empanadas and burritos (which she keeps warm by wrapping them up in plastic and a serape), and a few craft, quilting and jewelry booths as well. Good clean fun, and a nice way to meet some peoples who are in touch with the earth, man. 3-6pm, Fridays, rain or shine.
