My 3 year old started at the ROCK Quality Childcare September 3, 2024. Since then she has been thriving through her teachers. Her motor skills, academic education, socialization, and personality have blossomed and thrived through the nurture, love, and structure her teachers and the preschool provide. They work with potty training and her learning experience has been absolutely incredible! The hours are 7am-5:30pm and each classroom has their own little mascot! She started out as a Busy Bee (2-3 year old class) and has now progressed to the Blooming Butterflies class (3-4 year old class). I cannot wait for my baby girl to join the Rowdy Raccoons (4-5 year old class) for the new year coming up and prepare for kindergarten and graduation there after. The hours work amazing for my college and work schedule and they do not go by the school district, so they are open a lot more days than other preschools nearby. They are open during winter breaks, spring break, most 3 day weekend holidays, and it has helped a lot with both my work and school. We are so glad we found this absolute incredible preschool! It is so scary as a parent to find and place the trust of your child with others, and here, that fear goes away instantly when seeing how fast your child just connects, bonds, and loves going there to see their teachers! I highly recommend the ROCK Preschool to anyone looking for a safe, warm, nurturing, and caring environment for little ones to grow and thrive at. Not to mention, the playgrounds! They have such amazing playgrounds. Two in fact, which is very rare in the San Bernardino Mountains. Sign up your kids! It will be the best decision you have ever made. read more

I am so thankful for this school! From Day 1 I felt comfortable leaving my almost two year old there, and since then (3 years later), the teachers feel like family to us. They take diligent care of our kids, offer a stimulating schedule and such a beautiful setting. They are open YEAR ROUND! And don't take spring breaks etc. They go out of their way to try to stay open even when the school district calls a snow day. This school is amazing. The teachers really care about the kids and the department head is very interested in hiring the best of the best. My son has been there for about 10 months and my daughter before she went to elementary. The learning is done through play and experience which they just don't get in regular schools at this age. This is the first time I've ever put my son in school and it has been a great experience. Sandy walked us through the whole process and eased my mom guilt! They staff is awesome and attentive to my little ones needs. In the 8 months my son has been there, he has gained so much knowledge. I also like that it is Christian based and enforced what we do at home. I recommend this place to anyone who asks for a local pre-school. read more

Program is great! Teachers are great! And the Director, Sandy, is great. They have a great campus (although we didn't love the stairs the kids were required to go up and down at an early age by themselves to get to playground or other classrooms). They have fun activities and have great family events through out the year. Only down fall, for us, was it is more of a day care and not a preschool. If you don't commit to summer care (which is normal to have this time off for a true preschool), they won't hold your spot the next year even if you are willing to commit financially to the following year. We started, and got our son familiar and happy with their program for his first year in preschool, only to be told we were not able to come back the next year unless we committed to have our son go through their summer program. They stated that they would give our spot that next year to another NEW student that was willing to start through their summer program. That part was frustrating and seemed unfair, hence the 4 stars. My daughter went to the Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead The ROCK program and LOVED it!! The teachers are exceptional, and clearly care about each child's development. The ROCK program was just great. In fact the preschool curriculum was so good it gave my daughter a head start in Kindergarten. My daughter received a great education and care here, and I highly recommend it to anyone. My daughter still loves school and received a strong foundation for her love of school. One final note, the teachers and Sandy Greene the Director were always available to give helpful advice in any childcare questions that came up. I really miss everyone at the school! read more

We made the decision to change preschools from Mt Calvary Lutheran to here and we are SO happy we made the switch. Sandy the director gave me a tour and after meeting her I knew this was the right place for my son & daughter. I was determined to find the best option because my kids were going to spend 5 days per week and roughly 6-7 hours per day there. Everything from the activities to discipline to class work I have been very very happy with. The teachers really get to know your child and they take so much initiative to give the best care. By far this is the best option for childcare on this mountain! My two joined when they were 2&3 and stayed all the way until starting kinder... the kindness and care didn't stop there, Sandy continued to help me with resolving our kindergarten problems! Lol I will forever be grateful to Sandy and the awesome teachers that made this place feel like a real home to my little ones. Peace of mind while you are at work is absolutely priceless and luckily this place is one of the most affordable options up here in our tiny community. The R.O.C.K. program for infants is wonderful! We have had such an amazing experience with the team at Calvary Chapel from our first encounter with Sandy Green, touring the facility, enrolling our (at that time 3 month old) daughter into the program, and meeting the teachers; it has been fantastic from the start. The teachers are SO friendly and great with the kids. Ms. Amanda, Ms. Megan, Ms. Regina, Ms. Hayley, Ms. Sandy S and Ms. Sandy G are all wonderful teachers. My daughter loves going to school twice a week, and I love dropping her off knowing she is in great hands! They were willing to work with our (sometimes crazy) schedule and have always been very understanding. They take the kids outside almost every day, take them on walks to see the horses next door and the kids make projects for the holidays! My daughter is now 9 months old and knows some sign language, a few colors, a few words, has great social skills and so much more. They have gone above and beyond my expectations for daycare. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy daycare for their infant. read more
