Always welcoming new musicians and others. Children's and youth ministries are dynamic with many young families in attendance and leadership. The preaching of Pastor Keith Simpson is well prepared, holds interest, inspires, challenges and is solidly Biblical. This church actually BELIEVES and teaches the Bible, teaching salvation and Weslyan holiness doctrines. 2018 is the church's 150th anniversary, as it formed out of a tent revival by the Holland RR tracks in 1868 --which was written up in the Toledo newspaper for its pentecostal zeal and people weeping in repentance as they rushed to the altar. Our altar is still open for repentance, commitment and petitions --in every service. We have a heritage in fine pastors, going back in my memory to Burton Kettinger, Sr., Roger S. Lewis (17 years) who came in 1974 when we did, Dan Neville who led in building the present worship center, and assistants included Gene Stevenson, Paul Walter, and Keith Simpson. Music leaders starting in 1974 included Ellen Sautter, Roslyn Lewis, Barb Rohrs, Lynn Bryant, Sharon Brillhart, Ike Ruckman, and currently Stephanie Hulbert --assisted by her sister Christine Rohrs.
