I…read morebrought it in for a simple boost issue caused by a bad down pipe, for context the car was running perfectly fine aside from a lag in acceleration. They were able to get my car in within a couple of days, which seemed promising, but after a few days, they called me back saying they had fixed the issue, but now my car had a slight knock. When I arrived to pick it up and started it, I was met with one of the worst rod knocks I've ever heard saying it had been there the whole time and a slight exhaust leak was covering it up. My car went into their shop with no knocking whatsoever and came out with complete engine damage as well as an 800 dollar charge for the down pipe. Ever since, I've been fighting with their insurance, who is now trying to total my car and offer me absolutely nothing for it. So now I'm left with two terrible choices: either pay for a new car completely out of pocket or spend $11,000 to replace the engine they destroyed. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT EVER bring your car to this shop. They completely ruined my vehicle and left me stranded. I Will post video of knock if I'm able to.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I brought my car here thinking they could get it fixed quickly so I…read morecould drive 300 miles home. My car only had a slight loss of power most likely due to low boost. They called me and said they could fix it for $800. I got no updates after that and had to call them asking if it was done. Then they said they think it may be knocking. When I got to the shop they tried to charge me $950 after quoting me $800 for a turbo up-pipe and install. They then proceeded to say there's a slight knock once the car heats up. It had no knock when I dropped it off and just had a bunch of work done not even a year ago when the head gasket was done. They said it was just a little knock and to throw some thicker oil in it and it would make it home. They claimed the knock had been there and "my exhaust was too loud to hear it", and that it's been there the whole time. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN AND TEENAGERS. I spent 2 years in an auto tech class and worked in a shop, I know my way around cars. I made it out of their driveway and it instantly started a horrible rod knock. Their insurance company didn't look at the vehicle just made us wait weeks with no communication and then proceeded to back them up saying "you just couldn't hear it over your exhaust". They put my life in danger by telling me it was ok to drive it when it very well could have seized on me. I had to get it towed. Multiple mechanics said there was no way it was knocking before. DO NOT EVER GO HERE.

You only need to meander into his immaculate garage to realize this is no ordinary establishment. It's the den of a hugely creative spirit whose special skills and intelligence might be harnessed to solve your problem. I'm my case, it was an antique bed with an embedded nut that needed to be re-tapped to accommodate a modern bolt, but if you look around, you'll see a couple of light fixtures created out of welded railroad spikes that look like giant gumballs from a sweet gum tree, hanging from a huge chain, so you know the possibilities here are only limited by your imagination and your purse. My next visit will be to see if he'd be willing to design and build a hanger for an antique wooden airplane propeller. I would trust that project to just anyone.

Off the road over the left bank and into the rocks. Car was totaled. I was taken to the Elizabethtown Hospital. The state trooper came into the room told me where the car was headed. To Leroy's in Port Henry 30 miles away. The car had all of my belongings. You know there are no UBER's, taxies etc.. anywhere near Elizabeth Town for me to figure out how to get my things let alone get to NYC. From my room a figured I would try his phone. On a Sunday when he is clearly closed. He picked up and immediately recognized who I was from my number. We spoke a while and he knew what a spot I was in. He said " I will drive your belongings to the hospital". He never blinked. Within an hour he dropped off everything and left. i wasn't allowed to meet him or leave my bed and he wasn't allowed in from COVID. The next day he called and said he was mailing my EZ Pass and garage opener to my home as they were left behind. I also needed several photos of the car for insurance follow up. Done immediately. This is an exceptional person who clearly puts his clients first with major priority. Now I know why the state trooper never hesitated in explaining why the car was going to Leroy.
