Cao said there is no treatment at this time but I'm now curious if any lifestyle changes can possibly help to improve my chances.

I read reviews all over the web before going to this doctor. As always there are many reviews with…read moresome saying she is good an some were saying she is bad. Here is my experience. I arrived at the office 15 minutes before my appointment and was asked to fill out new patient information packet that asked about my information, my family history and my overall health. Once I finished that, I was taken to the back with in few minutes The exam started by one of her assistant checking my vision in each of my eye, checking the eye blood pressure and dilating my eye. I was also asked if I had any previous issue with my eyes or any complaints. Next I was taken to another room where photo of my eye was taken and then lastly to another machine that appeared to do same thing. At all times all of the employees were very professional and appeared to be knowledgeable. Lastly i was taken to the exam room where i saw Dr. Nika Bagheri, she walked in to the room and introduced herself. She took about 10-15 minutes to do the exam, speaking out loud on what she was saying to a person behind her that was typing everything that she was saying. At the end of the exam, she explained to me exactly what she seen in my eyes and advised me to come in 1 year in order to monitor possible problem with my eye. I will absolutely go back to her and I will also recommend her to my friends and family.

Top retina doc. Dr…read more Bagheri is the best. Knows everything about the eye, very thorough and attentive, excellent bedside manner.

Showing of 1 review This review does not include final…read moreresults. My wife went for a vitrectomy but little explanation was given before. 1. We were on the assumption that anesthesia was going to be general and found out during the surgery when my wife felt (pain) the needles on her eye. 2. She was told about staying looking down certain period for around 4 days after the surgery while the day after was told it could be weeks. 3. On the visit the day after the surgery when she got the patch removed she almost started crying because she could not see, then was told that was normal and it could take weeks, she should have been warned. 4. When seeing a different doctor the day after the surgery, little was explain other than "it looks normal", when my wife tried to ask about her concerns he seemed like on a rush to leave and left the assistant to answer. 5. She got paper listing two prescriptions for before and two after, we were told that not need to use the ointment and just use the two prescribed for before and one prescribed for after, I questioned "but the ointment is an antibiotic" and the assistant just responded that it was just if want it use at night to feel better. 6. I did my own search and found out that one prescription for before is an antibiotic same as the ointment, I assume that is the reason why the ointment is not needed. Throughout my research I found the vision issues for after the surgery so I was able to calm my wife, although I am not a doctor. In addition, I found there are two types of gas a fast acting and a long acting which I do not know what was used. I just hope the end result is as expected and faster than the unknown.
