If you are an advertising company looking to perform market research, or if you have been approached by this company to take part in a survey - I'd strongly advise you both NOT to do it.
I was recently asked by Google if I would like to take part in a Google Study. I agreed and The Research House (Schlesinger Group) got in touch with me.
They scheduled three 1.5 hour slots in total. They cancelled the three without notice - no survey ever took place.
Three 1.5 hour slots out my busy schedule I cant get back.
I've tried to make a complaint, it fell on deaf ears.
I was promised reimbursement, no cheque arrived.
Rhianna from the London office and her manager don't appear to know what the company complaints procedure is (it looks like it doesn't exist).
All in all a very bad experience with no one taking ownership when things go wrong. I'm amazed that Google choose such an unprofessional company to carry such important market research.
Google are also on my list to contact next, it's only fair they should know how The Research Group treat clients poorly.
