It looks like "Matching Models" has folded, just like all of her other companies where she scams people until she can't any more and then starts a new company. It was horrifying. It has been 12 years and I still think about this. I'm glad to see all her socials are inactive. I truly hope she is not still scamming people. The worst person I've ever met. They continue to use models and abuse the trust they have that they will get paid after doing the work. There is a group on face book SAY NO TO MATCHING MODELS. Total scam!! Avoid this agency at all cost!!! I worked through them for Desigual in April 2014, and two years later I still didn't get paid! I sent them many many e-mails, and received many fake promises, even tried to walk into their agency in London (but nobody opened the door), and I'm still waiting for my money. I'm not the only one in this situation; many girls from many countries didn't get paid (there's a facebook group about it), and Matching Models is still playing their trick recruiting new girls every year for the Desigual jobs, never paying of course. Matching models will provide your business with incredibly hard working models but will NOT pay them for their work. I for example stood in the freezing cold December weather for 6 hours on Oxford street handing out balloons and flyers to promote desigual store discounts. I worked so hard and got so many customers in. Then of course similar to other reviews for matching models when it was time for me to get paid the company went quiet and started making up excuses as to why I hadn't been paid. These ranged from telling me I should send an email to fake email addresses which always got a bounce back to my account letting me know that the email addresses didn't exist, to telling me that desigual hadn't paid them so that's why they won't pay me. Of course this was incredibly hard to believe as I have worked in the promo industry for years and know that the client has to pay most if not all of the money upfront and therefore the promotional agency will never be in a situation where a job has been completed before they have received a good chunk if not all of the full job fee. I recently worked for another agency at the ice gaming expo in excel where I came across a number of girls who when I mentioned the name "matching models" had plenty of similar stories where they'd carried out work for the agency in some cases over a year ago and hadnt ever been paid no matter how hard they'd tried to contact the agency and had lost all hope of ever being paid. SCAM SCAM SCAM They are a scam!!!!!! They don't pay there models. It's been 3 months since I last worked for them and have still not been payed for the work I done. They just string you along saying you will be paid on this day and that day but it never happens. They don't even communicate with there models about what is going on with why they haven't been paid. Even are numerous emails and calls trying to Speak with someone you get told that the are in a meeting which seems to be everyday at every time of the day!
